The events of July 8–9, when schoolchildren in Gurugram were stranded in buses for hours amid heavy rain, urban flooding and traffic disruption -and the distress faced by their parents -raise a simple question:
Will the District Administration conduct a comprehensive review of what happened?
As I said earlier, these are foreseeable emergencies. If we cannot yet eliminate the source of the problem, we must at least have robust emergency response protocols in place. For a child, being stranded in a school bus for hours means hunger, thirst, anxiety and not being able to use a washroom.
Several parents have also pointed out that such prolonged delays have occurred during previous monsoons. Since this is a recurring challenge, we need clear contingency plans that schools and authorities can activate when children are likely to be stranded for extended periods.
Such a review can help identify the gaps, learn from what happened, and put in place corrective steps so that School Administrations , the Education Department, police and civic agencies are better prepared for similar situations in the future.
Gurugram’s monsoon challenges are not new. Every such experience must help strengthen preparedness and ensure that children’s safety remains at the centre of our response.

To the public: "E20 fuel is safe and fully tested."
To the Supreme Court: "It’s just an experiment, we’ll know results next year."
The government completely lied about E20 readiness. They rushed this rollout to serve vested interests and corporate logistics, leaving millions of everyday vehicle owners to act as guinea pigs in a forced, destructive trial. Complete betrayal of public trust. #EthanolScam

Blinkit has created one of the fastest and most organized delivery experiences for customers. But behind that convenience, the situation for drivers at some warehouses is completely different.
@letsblinkit@blinkitcares@blinkiteng@deepigoyal
@letsblinkit The situation at Blinkit Faridabad is very bad,but Blinkit Kundli(Sonipat) is even worse. Long unloading delays, poor coordination, and lack of warehouse management are causing unnecessary suffering for drivers and transporters. @letsblinkit@blinkitcares@blinkiteng@deepigoyal
@TrafficGGM
Condition still remains the same.
Even after 9 months.
Traffic police didn't even care about the traffic.
They only care about money.
When the traffic police are really needed, they disappear.
@cmohry FYI
Seeking your intervention for a permanent solution.
Look at the traffic
Google shows heavy congestion on Railway Rd, Daulatabad Flyover, and Daulatabad Main Rd connecting to Dwarka Expy. This has been the situation for the past year people are stuck in jams daily! What's the #Traffic#Police doing about it? 🚦
