My hero today is @Tukaram_IndIAS FDA commissioner maharashtra. This IAS officer is a model of integrity and professionalism. He himself doesn't remember how many times he has been transferred bcs he shoots straight. Where others bend and stoop below, he stands tall. He has created a stir in eating establishments for closing them for unhygienic, unhealthy practises. Over 56 have been closed. He has caught synthetic material put in food and exposed this to the public. This man deserves the Padmashri and needs to head the Bombay municipal corporation. No praise is good enough for this guy. IAS and IPS officers should learn from him. More power to you Tukaram. You are the true sentinel of India and the nation stands tall because of you. Jai Hind

🚨 In 1999, an Indian lawyer named Tungnath Chaturvedi was overcharged 20 rupees for a train ticket, a very small amount at the time. When railway officials refused to correct the mistake, he decided to take legal action instead of ignoring it, turning a minor issue into a long legal battle.

The case went on for 22 years with more than 100 court hearings before a consumer court finally ruled in his favor in 2022. He was awarded a refund with interest and additional compensation, but he made it clear the case was never about the money.

The fact that the case dragged on for 22 years says a lot about India’s judicial system.

I am saying this again, India is no longer a country for free and fair business, nor a land of creative freedom.

You invest your hard-earned money to build something from scratch, and suddenly 2-rupee Bajrang Dal goons show up at your doorstep to shut it down, just because you try to create a neutral space or say something that doesn’t fit their politics.

The attacks on Piyush Bansal and Namita Thapar will push a whole generation of entrepreneurs to leave India. Economic growth depends on a strong ecosystem, and when people don’t feel safe to build or speak, why would anyone stay?

On one side, Hindutva goons. On the other, what does the government offer? High taxes, constant Income Tax and ED notices, harassment of the very people trying to create jobs and value.

And let’s be clear, this doesn’t happen without political patronage. BJP cannot deny that these mobs are part of the ecosystem that benefits them.

You build something, and one day 100 unemployed goons can walk in and destroy it.

Is this the environment we want for business and innovation?
