@DonDurrett It different now and much more severe than other crashes because of the enormous debt and Ai revolution . The 45 year cup and handle should have been a tectonic shift ....
@PeterLBrandt You are the only one who nailed it predicting silver could go back to 50 when it was above 100$+. I wish I worked have listened...painful lesson
@KarelMercx Same here last year was my best in 30 years and this year is so far a nightmare...I sold 50% of my gold and only 7% at the peak . Not selling more silver equities turned to be a painful mistake . Saying that ive purchased today #silj and #Gdx
@thesilverhermit This was a crash, not a correction. All the "specialists" promised us that this time would be different; unfortunately, it is not. Having said that, I believe this presents a good, low-risk entry level, though a time horizon of 2 to 4 years is necessary.
@thesilverhermit Great post! I totally agree. This consolidation is brutal and disappointing, but long-term targets of $200+ are reasonable. Exploding through the 50-year cup and handle is a tectonic shift, with debt and fundamentals supporting much higher prices. Patience is the key
@TaviCosta My friend you were so wrong regarding silver - it is down 50% and some miners 60%+. Not selling silver in the 100$+ was an enormous and painful mistake!
@Silver__Santa Well done my friend! Being flexible and acting quickly are great skills to have. Honestly, I didn't get why you sold your miners in the first place, especially after they were already down 30-50% from highs
@goldseek Unfortunately, I only sold 7% of my enormous silver position at the highs. However, my strategy is to always accumulate more during crashes. I bought back that 7% at $75 at Jan crash, sold at $90, and bought again at $68+ before selling 70% yesterday. I am still fully invested
@Silver__Santa My friend, you aren't seeing the reality of the situation because of your bias-greatest Taco of all time. While there might still be fire from the Iranians, this won't break the deal that Trump is so desperate and begging for. Saying that i still believe the stock market has topped
This is what most people donโt understand about shorting:
Your return is NOT capped at 100%.
If youโre scaling in properly, adding on every pop on the way down, you can compound gains far beyond that.
Thatโs how you short. I avoid options (timing kills) and stick to shorting common shares.
@Silver__Santa Well done, my friend! I assume most of the damage occurred between 120 and 70, so the downside is limited. I bought $SILJ and $PSLV again this morning when they were down 7%
