Round 28 - Whitehorse
This is very difficult but fun course. Your tee shot must hit the fairway if you want to have a chance at a GIR. I also love this course because you can head into the casino right after!
Grade: B+
Round 27 - Trophy Lake
This is probably the best Oki Course that they have to offer. Green rolled true and the fairways were properly cut. This is one of the courses I would play again with no hesitation.
Grade: B+
For 100 bucks you get shitty greens and tee boxes, terrible golf etiquette from other players, and a complimentary water. Doesn’t this sound like a great deal?
@Nate_Dogg05@lproulx22@mashieniblick18 TBH, I have played on better greens and fairways this year.
Chambers still had greens that have not fully recovered after being punched and multiple places on the fairway were the grass wasnt mowed. 🤷🏻♂️ I still had a great time playing with @lproulx22 and @mashieniblick18 though
Round 25 - Chambers Bay
@lproulx22, @mashieniblick18 and I had a great day on the course! The weather was great.
It’s always fun to play the same course the U.S. Open was played at! The course is pricey, but it is worth it on a nice day!
Grade: B
It might not be a private club, but it still is a golf course. We did the Marshall stop one group and talk to them about driving on the tee boxes and greens. Which was good
Round 24 - Nile Shiners
Got out of quarantine today and joined @mashieniblick18 for a quick 18 after work.
The course was in great shape and had very few wet spots. As said before, this is the best value course in Seattle.
Grade: B
One of the downsides of being a value course though is that the course gets played by wanna be golfers who have no idea what golf etiquette is. @mashieniblick18 and I saw multiple groups walking there dogs, driving carts on greens and tee boxes, and slow play.
Round 23 - Peace Portal Golf Club
This course is a must for golfers heading to BC. It right over the boarder and in great shape for the amount of rain we received over the last couple weeks.
It is also under new management and will have a new course layout next week.
Grade: B
@mashieniblick18 and I had a great time in BC. The twosome we played with also gave us some great recommendations on future courses to play. It is worth the weekend trip!
@mashieniblick18 I do understand that it is still April, but it seems like if they put any work into both course they could be in way better shape. Ex. Fairways not mowed and bunkers not ranked with grass growing in the middle.
Round 22 - Washington National
Just like Newcastle, people in Seattle consider this a top course. But for the price and the condition it is in, it is not worth the money.
You can find better courses in Seattle!
Grade: D+
Round 21 - Newcastle - Coal Creek
Some people in Seattle consider this a top course. But for the price you pay and the condition it is in, it not worth the money.
You can find better courses for cheaper in the Seattle area!
