Also, like my old boss isn't like overstepping bound, I am someone who hates saying 'no' and timing of stuff has biten me in the ass. But yeah, its slowly becoming too much.
Me: -works a full day-
Old boss: -text about doing like thirty minutes of work tonight-
Me: -doesn't reply at work cause didn't want to commit, and replies once I get home that I would look at their email-
Me, looking at email: -sees its more than thirty minutes of work- No.
I'll do this once, but next time I am going to be like I am not doing anything until all the info is know. Because this always happens with this sales person and it was fine when I didn't have a job, but now I do and I want my free time....
Me: yeah three day weekend! After three weeks of a new job right before a mountain of work I have to start climbing.
Old boss, who I still am helping out with some free lance work, cause: Hey some stuff came in, can you help?
Me: sure!
Realize this is literally the first time this has happened since I got my new job. And I know it is not my bosses fault it is the sales person, but there is a lot of unnecessary work I have to do and I am kind of pissed off I am losing a day of this holiday weekend...
I turned down a job like two months ago because the pay was too low, and I have essentially been "regetting" doing so slightly
("Regetting" in the sense that I could have been earning something but I am too nice of a person to let them train me for three months then leave)
I am so sick and tired of looking for jobs. I'm tired being rejected from jobs. I am tired of job sites filling my email. I'm tired of feeling like maybe I am asking to much for pay.
I just want someone to hire me.
