At 4:50 p.m., the bells of St. Augustine Church in Humboldt, Saskatchewan, will toll in remembrance of the victims of the Humboldt Broncos bus crash.

Hockey is woven into the fabric of communities across Canada, and Humboldt is no exception. Eight years later, the weight of that loss is still felt deeply. 

Today, we remember the victims, and hold their families, teammates, loved ones, and the entire Humboldt community in our hearts. #HumboldtStrong

Absolutely brilliant marketing move by the @SeattleKraken.

Jared McCann’s hat trick on Tuesday was nullified by a penalty but fans had already tossed their hats on the ice. So Seattle and @AmericanExpress offered a new hat to 1,000 fans who were “hat tricked.”
