@Ask_Spectrum
“Hi, my student is in ZIP 90007 (near USC). Spectrum internet has been down for over 12 hours affecting multiple buildings/blocks.
Spectrum is not providing updates or ETAs. This may be impacting students/work-from-home residents.
@Alamo 12 hours later and still the issue is not resolved through roadside assistance. Thankfully Waco Texas had Ubers but ironic since my daughter rented a car so that she would not need Ubers for the conference where she is presenting today.
@alamocares Now the car is being towed to an enterprise lot. So she’s not sure how she’ll get a replacement car tomorrow. She was only able to use the car for 2 hours tonight
@alamocares So my daughter who rented a car in Dallas had the front left tire go flat when she arrived in Waco. Called Alamo roadside assistance and they could not help her since it was 11:30pm at night. But they offered to schedule a appt for the morning. WTF?
@alamocares Roadside assistance stranded my 26 year old daughter in Waco Texas. She tried working with roadside for 2 hours from 11pm to 1am without any luck. They were unable to book an uber so we did it at our cost.
@Alamo you stranded my 26 old daughter in Waco Texas. Roadside assistance is not real. They could not get anyone to help not even the 24 hr tow truck services. And no Ubers at 1am either so she had to walk 2 miles with her suitcase to her hotel and leave the car at a gas station
@Alamo Warning to renters: My daughter rented a car from Alamo in Dallas, TX and drove to Waco, TX. Late at night the left front tire went flat about 2 miles from her hotel.
She called Alamo roadside assistance around 11:30 PM and they could not find anyone to help her.
@CostcoTravel Beware renting a car through Costco Travel unless you like to be stranded. My daughter rented a car in Dallas for an event in Waco where the left front tire went flat. Called roadside assistance who happily charged her $68, but hasn’t found someone. It is midnight
@UniversalORL Shout out to Sam, Victoria and Cade of Guest Services #UOFistBump who helped my party of 8 with resolutions to the unpredictable, bumpy experiences during our two day visit! Their responsive and prompt customer service is what will keep us coming back each year!
@UniversalORL For everyone that experienced an early bumpy day like my group did today rest assured, if you reach out to the guest services team and politely describe your situation, they will find a resolution that you will find very reasonable and satisfactory
@banksy147@UniversalORL Agreed. It’s rough today. Even when you ask politely via in park guest services and concierge they won’t help. I just want their expected wait times to be correct so that we can make different decisions vs. realizing after an hour+ that there might be a mistake in the estimation.
@UniversalORL we entered the mine cart ride at 10 AM as the posted time was 130 minutes whereas we didn’t even get to the boarding until 1:45 PM. That’s all over 50% over your estimated time which impacted our day. How do we get recovery tickets for to make up for lost time?
@CenturyLink For those having line quality issues causing frequent internet connectivity outages, is anyone interested in class action for breach of contract? Having to wait 6 days for a tech to fix an external line problem past the demarcation point is ludicrous.
@CenturyLink Only gets 1.5mbits/sec and charges $70 per month plus $15 per month for the modem. It’s like returning to dial up. My data plan on my mobile device is faster! If something breaks it’s almost a week to get a resolution. Someone needs to litigate for contract breach
@CenturyLink Avoid CenturyLink in the residential region called DesertCreek. The internet goes down every 20 minutes. Called support for line resets but it’s only temporary. After the diagnosis it’s a bad line despite only having the service for 4 months. ETA is 6 days for tech
@Clear Clear = 30 minute delay in San Diego T2. If there is an issue, it’s a disaster. And they place you in priority which is much slower than tsa pre. All members of our party have TSA pre so not sure what happened there for two members of our party.
@Clear So not true in San Diego terminal 2. And you must bring your passport since they don’t know what to do when the machines have trouble. Expect a 30 minute process. Stick with just TSA Pre. Clear is not helpful in San Diego
