Some of President Biden’s pardons that were announced a few days ago have people understandably upset. I’m not familiar with the details of those cases, but the news about the controversy made me think of the pardon that I received from God. I was guilty of sin and my sentence was death. But God intervened by sending His righteous Son, Jesus Christ, to pay my penalty on the Cross where He shed His blood, died, was buried, and on the third day God raised Him to life. And the good news is, God stands ready to pardon anyone who comes to Him in repentance, through faith in His Son, Jesus Christ! What a pardon!
