@caitlin__reanne @mack1nnon Esp since Colton only skated 9 minutes last couple games. He’s definitely hurt. Burns has a broken foot or toe? He limps off the ice. Kadri probably has a broken finger or hand. When your game requires speed and shooting and you can’t do either without pain, it humbles you.

@ImOwensDada @evanrawal Peace my brother! We’re both lifetime Avs fans frustrated with a wagon of a team underperforming. Size and strength is needed by Avs. As the core ages, their style of play won’t work due to youthful power and rebound it requires. Mack used to power through guys… he didn’t.

@Romi_Bean Avs are a phenomenal team. This one was amazing in reg season play, set records in fact. The damn PP. power passing and nothing out front is the death of the team in the playoffs. Necas was overwhelmed by the moment. The injuries slowed Lehky, Val, Mack, Burns, Makar, Malinski.

@AdoHernandez27 @MileHighHockey The power pass approach to the PP is the death of the season. Need more grit in the bottom 6. Didn’t have any big guys to knock the bigger Vegas had in front of the net. Where most of the goals were scored. And no defensive depth. Lil guys for 7 and 8D isn’t a good idea.

@ImOwensDada @evanrawal I had a feeling losing Bo and Newhook were going to hurt and it finally happened. Both are great for their new teams. Bo is a UFA after 27. Maybe Avs trade for him and he and Makar can finally be the duo we wanted.

@ImOwensDada @evanrawal I couldn’t agree more that Avs had a wagon in ‘22. But to say Makar and Mack can’t lead is crazy to me.
‘22 stats in the playoffs for us to reminisce. Missing rants big time. Clutch Lehky was missing also. Kadri missing his normal hard playing/checking. Val wasn’t great either.

@DJRB2006 @evanrawal Had many chances to shoot and passed instead. Like they did all season and series. Can’t power pass it into the net. The PP was a prime example of that.

@warrior_coast @evanrawal Need more grit in the bottom 6. Building a team purely on skill and speed isn’t the solution for playoff hockey. Beef won this series. And what happens when you have a lot of skill… over passing. That killed em. Landy is not the problem.

@jessemontano_ They’re pressing way too hard. Need to change the mindset, drive straight down and shoot look for rebounds. Done. Their plan is to pass it and turn it over.

“Slow” Vegas is looking fast when they skate right by the Avs defenders in the d-zone.

@seckzey @nhl_review Have you seen how many time Nelson has defended the front of Avs own net? He may not be scoring but he’s defending well and that’s worth his contract. He’s also had good shots, goalies just stopped em.

@puppertoshi2 @nhl_review Simple, defense is better in the playoffs. Necas strength is skating into the slot and shooting. That slot isn’t open now. Nate and Necas want the same part of the ice on the PP and it’s killing the Avs production. Have to drop one of them to the 2nd PP unit. Missing Mikko now!
