Last year in Storm Eunice, our chair had a freak accident & consequently had her lower left leg amputated. She does a lot for others, provides opportunities for people to play netball and fundraisers for others. She needs our help to get back on court โฆ

@Alish_ous @stn_jemma Sorry you had a negative experience in general practice, this is definitely not the norm. So many opportunities and areas to progress and certainly a good environment for a NQN with the right support
@lizzy_bitz Iโve been in general practice for over 20 years and still love it. We need to promote the GPN role as a worthwhile career, with so many opportunities
Our first #GPN led leg ulcer Hub within Stevenage South PCN today. Working with 4 other surgeries to bring about a collaborative approach to improve and standardise patient care. #generalpractice @HWE_ICS @WeGPNs @louisebrady17@PrimaryCareNHS@RCNGPNForum
@Matronmamma Best job! Congratulations! Get in touch with your educational lead for your PCN for support.
Use the network of clinical expertise around you and get to understand how they all work together. Itโs a great job, good luck ๐
@louisebrady17 @MsVAnthony1 GPNs need to be aware of this, speaking with those within PCNs many are feeling โnudged outโ because of the Arrs roles. The GPN profile needs to be highlighted and strengthened so they feel valued,
@louisebrady17 As long as the skill mix is adequately trained and aware of professional boundaries then the increased workload can be met and not just by a GP.
@ThisisDavina@DrNighatArif Training of coil insertions needs to be more accessible, more HCPโs need to be encouraged to complete the training, as clearly not enough GPs to meet the demand x
