This experience with @LATAMAirlines was completely unacceptable. I paid $200+ for an exit row seat, only to be moved to a middle seat in the very back of the plane. Staff were unhelpful and disrespectful when I tried to resolve it. This is unacceptable—customers deserve better.
Responsibility aligns with the issue of hospital acquired infections. It is the nurse's responsibility to practice proper hygiene techniques to protect patients from HAIs. I will be an agent of change by practicing the right standard of hygiene for my patients. #NURS3106#M4W11
4. I will use social media and advocate for nursing through twitter, facebook, instagram, etc. 1. Having a reasonable, safe and tolerable workplace will promote a productive and enjoyable environment in which I can advocate for myself as a nurse. #NURS3601#M4W10
I will balance leadership through leading by example. Accountability will be achieved through seeking help if an error is made, and responsibility will be achieved through properly caring for my pts. Balancing these will help in becoming a successful nurse. #NURS3106#M4W9
The distractor answers are immunization history, output, and LOC. I believe pt weight is the correct response, because this would help the nurse assess fluid loss related to the pt's symptoms of dehydration. #NURS3106#M3W8
A relevant technology application in the nursing field is the Electronic Health Record (EHR). Miscommunication is possible through typos in the EHR, potentially causing confusion/mistakes. This could be prevented through careful revision of all EHR entries. #NURS3106#M3W7
Language barriers result in ineffective communication. Every language has certain phrases that even familiarized speakers could mistake. It is important to get an accurate idea of how well each team member knows the language, and to get a translator if necessary. #NURS3106#M3W6
I chose to follow @DonnaCardilloRN because of the experience and knowledge that she demonstrates in her tweets. Her passion for helping nurses find joy in their lives and work is inspiring, and she brings attention to the important holistic aspects of nursing. #NURS3106#M2W5
Mrs. H experienced malpractice. The nurses on her team should've taken the time to document her low oxygen status and notify her primary healthcare provider and family. #NURS3106#M2W4
The very basis of nursing is to prevent patient harm. If a patient was planning suicide, it would be the nurse's ethical duty to report it, and provide counsel. Suicide is a very serious matter and if you see something, it is always necessary to say something. #NURS3106#M2W3
If I were to choose today, I would practice pediatric nursing. I think it is so important to provide support and care for children and babies who need someone to advocate for them in times of need. #NURS3106#M1W2
I decided to pursue a career in nursing because I've seen firsthand the healing and caring that goes into the job. I want to be a person who can help and care for people when they need it most, and I believe nursing is the best way to do that. #NURS3106#M1W1 section 3G40(17742)
