Hardware is the bridge between AI and the physical world
Atoms and bits must work together to create future systems embedded with physical intelligence
We wrote a guide for those curious about the atoms.
It’s still an early prototype, but it’s interesting to see how this technology is developing.
A big thanks to GEORGE for letting me test it before it reaches the market.
#smartaiglasses
I would say that AI smart glasses could be the future and may one day replace the smartphones we use today.
I got these AI glasses from a good friend of mine, and this is only a prototype version.
They can listen and respond to you, similar to Siri. You can ask questions about what’s in front of you, and the AI can help answer them directly.
It also has built-in speakers, so you can listen to music without having to wear earbuds or headphones.
MIT Press published a robotics textbook.
Then put it on GitHub for FREE. 📌
"Introduction to Autonomous Robots" covers everything:
kinematics, sensors, actuators, motion planning, localization, computer vision, and neural networks... from mechanisms all the way to algorithms.
It's written for undergraduates. Which means it's actually readable.
Most robotics textbooks assume you're already deep in the field. This one builds everything from the ground up, step by step, with real examples. Stanford's Mac Schwager called it "much-needed" (because it genuinely is).
Four professors at the University of Colorado Boulder spent years building it from lecture notes. MIT Press published it. Then they open-sourced the whole thing under Creative Commons.
PDF. Free. GitHub.
If you're trying to understand how autonomous robots actually work (not just the frontier research, but the foundations), this is where to start.

Proudest moment of my research career, Neural MP won Best Student Paper at IROS!
We built a fast, reactive neural motion planner that works in the real world and ended up being used to be enable incredibly long-horizon manipulation tasks in ManipGen (https://t.co/3fCDIGuJrO).
This was a culmination over a year's worth of effort starting all the way in Spring 2023, with a super fun discussion with @pathak2206 :)
Neural MP would not have been possible with out the incredible work put in by the entire team, especially @Jiahui_Yang6709 (who is applying for PhD Fall 2026 and would be a great candidate for any program!)
Definitely check out our robot videos, code and paper here: https://t.co/CnXheq33Go
why go into robotics?
because robotics is where all disciplines collide.
it’s not just coding or mechanics; it’s physics, biology, control theory, design, and intelligence all stitched into one body that moves.
in robotics, you’re not just solving problems; you’re making something that thinks and acts in the real world. that’s the ultimate test of understanding.
software can fake intelligence.
hardware cannot.
if it moves; it’s real.
May you be freed soon, and may your strength continue to inspire generations to stand for truth, justice, and democracy. “Real Freedom is Freedom from Fear”— a truth you have lived with grace and unshakable courage.
Happy 80th birthday, our beloved Amay Suu!

Quaternion representation is the most efficient method ever found for 3D rotation in Robotics.
The use of trigonometry seems to be very popular around 1800.
To understand Sine and cosine from behind the curtain is one of the crucial things to start the engineering journey.
1/ The viral video of #Myanmar junta-backed soldiers torturing and burning two men alive is yet another disgusting example of what happens when our world lets impunity for mass atrocities fester. The world must hold Min Aung Hlaing & senior junta officials accountable, but…
IDC if you find it annoying. 1st is the remaining scalp of a child killed by military airstrike at Southeast, 2nd is the evidence of burning two local defense youths alive by pyusawhti militias (pro-junta/military) at Northwest of Myanmar. 👇news links
