A Bellingcat investigation shows that between 2020 and 2024, Ekal USA sent roughly ₹265 crore to Ekal Vidyalayas in India. These schools have well-known links to the Sangh Parivar. Mohan Bhagwat appears on their platforms, and the US arm began as a VHP of America programme.

Under FCRA rules, every foreign contribution must land in the designated SBI New Delhi main branch account. So this money came from the US straight into an SBI account under the government’s nose, with full records available to the government.

Meanwhile, FCRA licences of over 16,000 NGOs have been cancelled. Organisations that ask questions are branded a “threat to the country.” But foreign funds for Sangh-linked bodies are labelled “seva.”

Simple question: if foreign money is a threat, why is it not a threat for everyone? Why is the RSS still not registered, and who will ask for its accounts?
One law, not equal for all.
