Try it out.
Turns out
Load-testing a CDN from one laptop measures the CDN, not your app
@vercel only allows load testing on Enterprise plans. I'm on Hobby. Oops.
Read your host's fair-use policy before pointing a load tester at it
My IP and I are taking some time apart
Fairs
We're hiring a founding growth (engineer?) for @tryreplicas in SF.
@SaaiArora and I are both engineers. We'd never done growth before and had to scale the business through founder-led sales and iterating over and over and over (e.g. learning SEO/GEO, outbound)
We're at an important inflection point on the company, and want an incredible growth hire to light the fuse
What you'll do:
> Launch, launch, launch
> Help me data monkey on ads, SEO/GEO, etc.
> Run events
> Figure it out
Just dogfood my own site with my own load tester(PreScale). โ
It said survives ~150 users and I should add workers. It's static files on Vercel's CDN. There are no workers. It was Vercel's DDoS protection throttling my laptop. Then it blocked my IP. From my own site. Fuck๐ญ
