@SJBoam I'm glad you agree to ending second jobs but a significant pay increase is entirely unnecessary. Unless you think £80k (plus extraordinary benefits / expenses) is a low salary then you've lived a very privileged and/or blinkered life

However, that is a disingenuous defence in the extreme. The man acted entirely in his own interests, committed corruption in public office, got caught then voted to change the rules
