@viking_boer I’d argue that your children have a far better chance of living to such an age to provide grandchildren here then in South Africa. I don’t think the average person understands just how bad it is there.

@viking_boer My issue with immigrants coming into the US is the ones that see this place as an Economic Zone to exploit and setup parallel societies. I have no issue with the South Africans that wish to work hard, integrate and contribute. You guys are alright to me.

@japan_nobunaga As an American I cannot understand it myself. But if uncontrolled immigration had been allowed to continue here it would be our future too. The politicians hate their own people and consider it the cost of doing business. They’re all completely isolated from the consequences.

@BasedMikeLee All this crashing out over this and no one has brought up a possible character limit to a denomination name. Both JW and LDS don’t believe in the Trinity so it stands to reason whatever clerk that compiled the list just shortened the entry to fit it.

@hthieblot Geocities. It was maybe proto social media. You could get lost for hours browsing other peoples pages they made about their own interests. Make your own and connect others other peoples pages that way. Truly a lost world that you had to be there for.
