I got tired of seven CLIs just to install a package and switch Node.

OMG is one Rust binary for Arch packages and language runtimes. pacman, yay, nvm, pyenv, rustup, rbenv, jenv same command surface. Official and AUR install together. omg use switches Node, Bun, Python, Rust, Go, Ruby, Java.

Search is 13ms mean because a daemon keeps the repo index in memory. 19× pacman, 28× yay. Teams dump the stack into omg.lock and check drift instead of debugging someone else's machine.

🚨 BREAKING: "gpt-6-astra" has been staged on the OpenAI API

The OpenAI Responses API now returns a 404 Not Found for "gpt-6-astra", where garbage/actually non-existent slugs return 400s - a 404 is also returned for 5.6 Cyber, which we know exists.

A similar quirk exists in the Bedrock API used to find Fable 5.1 a day prior to launch.

The real unicorn is Grok 4.6 just below Fable 5.1 and it is a model roughly a quarter of the parameters as Fables approximate amount. Just wait in 10 days everyone sleeping on @grok are going to be glazing it as the best.

Omabotchee @bot is the Omarchy support bot I built for when the box is slow, the bar is weird, or an update just ate Hyprland. It treats Arch as Arch (pacman, NVIDIA, kernel) and only blames Omarchy when the bug is actually in omarchy-*, Quickshell, or the shipped config. If it cannot fix it, it bags omarchy-debug, a screenshot, and steps a maintainer can reproduce — then asks before filing on GitHub so @dhh does not get another “Chromium crashed” ticket.
