@imdimoon@Rolando_JGS@IGN I'm not someone who needs to blindly accept that everything in the past was a great idea. Here's an example you can relate to. The Confederacy was filled with a bunch of losers both figuratively and literally. They lost the civil war and the 'war' of morals. Past can be dumb.
@imdimoon@Rolando_JGS@IGN You called me a snowflake because you couldn't think of anything logical. So I'll go to your level so you can understand. I couldn't care less what people like you think of me because you are nothing but trash. You're nothing but a sad little POOR racist who hates. Grow up.
@Rolando_JGS@IGN NOBODY is pure anything. I said you don't look like the portrayals of Native Americans in the movie and that is why those kinds of people would question your heritage. People who think that racist stereotypes aren't a big deal. People like yourself. You're part of the problem
@Rolando_JGS@Waffle_64@IGN That's like a thief saying he disagrees with you objecting to him robbing you and just claiming a different point of view. Pretty sure we can agree the thief is in the wrong there
@Rolando_JGS@IGN And like I said before...you don't see the harm in it because it doesn't personally affect you and you don't have the empathy to put yourself in a Native American's shoes and think how it would adversely affect them in the future by having this in a movie. Even though you should
@Rolando_JGS@IGN If the parents were teaching the kids that these cartoons are incorrect then no it might not be as much of a problem but that's not happening. They have the same attitude that you have about it and it reinforces to the kids that it's ok. Your lack of empathy is the problem.
@Rolando_JGS@IGN Persecution of Native Americans happened because they looked different than their oppressors. Any kind of war happens because people focus on what is different about others rather than what is the same. Reinforcing a belief that Native Americans have red skin is a part of this.
@Rolando_JGS@IGN Grown adults were ingesting bleach because of what Trump implied....you think a kid with less life experience is going to necessarily fare better? And you would be surprised how many people question someone's heritage because they look different than their preconceived notions
@Rolando_JGS@Waffle_64@IGN True...not all stereotypes are inherently racist. But THESE clearly are and that's why they shouldn't be around kids without adult supervision.
@Rolando_JGS@Waffle_64@IGN You do know what a subconscious is right? And that things you see growing up can become part of your character without you even realizing it? You not being able to see that racist stereotypes (no matter how slight) should be kept away from young kids is disturbing.
@imdimoon@Rolando_JGS@IGN And you're an ignorant person who has nothing going for themselves but hate so the only way you can feel better is by trying to put others down. Grow up and learn to be a productive member of society rather than a racist who lives in the past.
@Rolando_JGS@IGN If it personally affected you then you would hopefully be able to understand why it's absolutely essential that people stop acting like racist acts and beliefs are ok. You would understand that stereotypes become ingrained in people's minds and they see others as less than human
@Rolando_JGS@IGN The only reason that you don't see a problem with it is because it doesn't personally affect you and you don't have any empathy towards other people that it could affect.
@BombCityBastard @senchi3_ @kingoftherodeo9 @Safwatric420 @IGN@disneyplus Maybe you should start speaking in a way that makes sense. The whole point of Disney changing things is so that the KIDS won't be exposed to it without an adult around hopefully. So honestly I have no idea what point you're trying to get across because you just flip-flopped
@Rolando_JGS@IGN So should I go around calling Caucasians "paleskins"? Are you saying the people who coined the term "redskins" weren't doing it to be condescending?
@Rolando_JGS@IGN The fact that you just described how the movie stated a Native American was red (even though this is a stereotype and thus not true for all) and yet you don't see it as a problem even though it's reinforcing this belief into impressionable minds shows a disconnect that's sad
