@GavinNewsom When are you going to end the decade+ sole source contract for retardant - even USFS and CalFire Aviation say retardant won't put out fire - need firefighters on he ground. 2018 record retardant drops 14,000 firefighters and look at the results. Extraordinarily expensive too.

Retardant doesn't work, it kills fish and is expensive. Gov Newsome must take on the US Forest Service, CalFire, and CalDGS No California gov has been willing to do this
