My guess is the low voltage power supply deteriorates the 10V 470uF capacitor at an abnormally rapid rate.
It could be that the peak voltage of the power supply exceeds the rated 10V of the capacitor.
I haven't done any measurements yet but if they fail again, I might.
I fixed these Tuya controlled Aubess Smart plugs by changing the 10V 470uF capacitor (top left) to a 16V 220uF.
I would have liked to change it to at least a 25V 470uF, but I didn't have any on hand.
The capacitance is a bit lower, but they work again.
