@RuleOfThule@WithNightDanger@hexcrawl I for one would love a practical write up of this with a sample adventure. Not immediately, obviously, but if you ever put something like that on your blog please @ me.
@madcowpanzer I actually think the implication is that the sin belongs more with her husband rather the wife. Since he says as much with men who prostitute their wives in other works.
Saying this is a defense of polyamory is more than a stretch.
@ByzCat I don't necessarily object but I don't really see a solid reason why a demon would pretend to be an alien. I'm just not sure how it helps them get people to reject God.
My opinion is "sure they can" but it doesn't necessarily follow that all aliens are demons or something.
@SydSteyerhart My 3 year old nephew also approaches the world with a lot of curiosity but it doesn't make him right when he says he's Spiderman.
Dawkins is obviously wrong about AI and the Pope is obviously right.
@jfecteaux@RenegadeOomfie Not that I ever found this convincing when I was an atheist, but that's not exactly logical, right? Miracles are exceptional, and, by definition, exceptions are uncommon.
Either way, brother. I'll pray for you.
@metroadlib 30's less than a book a week. An average 90000 word book takes about 6 hours for the average person to read. Less than many people watch TV or play vidya.
On the other hand, skipping narrative is the most NPC thing I've ever heard. They deserve to be gate-kept
@MYTHOTROPOS You might as well just ask chat-gpt to write you a political thriller set in some space byzantium. At least it would have a plot and would, likely, have stronger prose.
@MYTHOTROPOS It's embarrassing that something so amateurism won a Hugo. It's banal, boring and pretentious all at once. Your average litrpg or harem slop is more worth your time.
