I completed the @DarrenLatham glow up challenge - 25 years between models…. If you’d told me 15 years ago I would actually paint some models properly I’d have thought you were mad!! But here we are. Tried out nmm for the first time, not bad, I’ll take it for a first time try!!

@warhammer Started to paint my Skaven ahead of the launch of 4th edition this summer - I’m calling it my “Road to 4th Edition” (rt4e)project. These are all WiPs and test models - but I’m looking forward to fielding these 😁#aosrt4e

WiPs of my clan rat test models. They’re basically done - a few bits of highlighting would probably make them pop, but I’m happy with the scheme in general.
Also started on a claw lord - basic colours down, some highlights done - but needs a bit more work #aosrt4e #warhammer #aos

@PapaPomPaints Bases are the last thing on my mind right now 😂😂 I’m using the excuse “they might change the base sizes, so there’s no point right now” 😂

Got most of the base colours on these guys - also trying some rusty blades (will do a close up after some sleep!!) - trying to make them look awesome without spending 10 hours per model. I think I’ll use different coloured clothing to tell the units apart #aosrt4e

@warhammer “Shakey Drake” my converted zombie dragon and his fellows bullying a poor dragon ogre. The vampire lord is so excited, he appears to have fallen from his saddle! I’m sure we can all sympathise

So with AoS 4th edition coming this summer, I thought it would be time to dust off my old fantasy Skaven army!! Obviously we don’t know points etc, but my aim is to have a fully painted 2000pts (ish) army by the expected release date at the end of July!!

So far it’s clan rats from 2 island of blood boxes, a plague furnace, the team from nethermaze, and 80 plague monks. I also have unbuilt Thanquol, a screaming bell, and some minor heroes. @PapaPomPaints kindly converted some jezzails for me too

@NornQueenKya @talmstedt I’m an arsehole and make them re-roll it every time 😂 I try and catch mine before they stop rolling though so it doesn’t look terrible. At a tournament I’ve been to, it was encouraged to re-roll if they land on a models base too
