@telepathicats random question but how often do you poop? like genuinely. i might be noticing a couple similarities here (my partner has been an ambulatory wheelchair user for a few months now)
@Byeacinth that’s not just a thing online that is the genuine term within the community as far as i’m aware. i’ve been seeing and hearing it for years. also it’s not ‘normal and healthy people’ it’s just people who don’t have alters/did/odds because there’s a Single person up there
@Byeacinth believe them or trust them, but listen to them. they exist within you for a reason, that much i can say with confidence. each voice does have a purpose, that is why your brain developed the alter, it’s just about integrating certain parts of that purpose into your daily life
so this person came over for a few days for a lot of reasons, one of them partly because a lot of new alters had popped up and they really weren’t sure what they were supposed to be doing with their life with everything going on. i will start by saying that at one point during +
@Byeacinth@cadburycremeego ohoho i have a fantastic story for u guys! the other day i was speaking with someone who has did and i actually brought out an alter they didn’t even know they had, it was a very long and interesting therapising conversation but i’m gonna qrt myself cuz there’s a lot i wanna say
@Byeacinth of them—well actually a lot of them do want to get into fights. but they don’t, because the group consensus is that is a consequential choice. but like, you share your mind and your body with these voices. you can’t block them out, you gotta listen to them. not necessarily +
together in harmony and balance. kinda starting to sound like my little pony here ngl. kinda forgot where i was going with this but yeah! thought you’d find it interesting and hopefully helpful
they don’t WANT to fully integrate together, which is honestly just another sign that person needs more therapy. but yeah, no, it is not about “reuniting” all the different parts into one full ‘whole’ again, it is about learning to live with all these different parts of you +
