🚨🎙️ Zlatan Ibrahimović on Piers Morgan leaving Lionel Messi out of his all-time XI:
🗣️ Zlatan: “Piers Morgan says he’d leave Lionel Messi out of his all-time XI? That’s cute. Football has been leaving Piers Morgan out of serious football discussions for years.”
🗣️ Zlatan: “You’re not even in my top 100,000 journalists, TV personalities, or broadcasters in the world.”
🗣️ Zlatan: “You spent decades chasing headlines. Messi spent two decades creating history. One is remembered for interviews, the other for moments that changed football forever.”
🗣️ Zlatan: “You measure greatness through opinions. Football measures it through World Cups, Ballon d’Or awards, trophies, records, and the generations of players and fans a person inspires.”
🗣️ Zlatan: “I’ve lived football my entire life. You only seem to enter the conversation when Messi or Ronaldo is trending.”
🗣️ Zlatan: “I joined football media during the 2026 World Cup and generated enormous attention. You’ve been on television for decades and still rely on Messi’s name to attract clicks.”
🗣️ Zlatan: “Take Messi out of your all-time XI if you want. The team won’t become famous because of that decision. The decision becomes famous because it involves Messi.”
🗣️ Zlatan: “Imagine believing you can remove the greatest player of all time from history with a single opinion, while people only remember that opinion because it was about him.”
🗣️ Zlatan: “Messi doesn’t need validation from anyone. If anything, it’s his name that keeps these conversations relevant.” 🐐🔥

🚨🎙️ Julián Álvarez on how Argentina treats Lionel Messi:
“People think we take care of Messi because of everything he's won.
That's not the reason.
We take care of him because he has spent his entire career taking care of Argentina.
When you share a dressing room with him, you quickly understand that he never asks to be treated differently. In fact, he's usually the first one to joke around, the first one to congratulate a teammate, and the last person to make anything about himself.
That's exactly why everyone naturally wants to protect him.
If Messi loses the ball, the first thought isn't, 'Why did he lose it?'
It's, 'Let's win it back for Leo.'
That's the mentality of this team.
We know that one touch, one pass, or one moment from him can change everything. So if we have to run an extra five or ten metres to give him that chance, we'll do it every single time.
For us, Messi isn't just the captain.
He's the heartbeat of Argentina.
Wearing the same shirt as the greatest player in history isn't pressure.
It's a privilege that we'll be telling our children about for the rest of our lives.”
Let me shoot my shot for my dad’s football team.
My dad has a young boys football team called Noble Warriors in Nketia (Kumasi). He’s been managing them over 10 years now. It started off by he trying to prevent the young boys from going wayward in the area. 1/2
