@bouguereau_stan @atlanticesque We had massive internal migrations of southerners (famously black southerners but also plenty of whites) in the early 20th century. Then post-WWII millions of people moved to the Sun Belt (AZ as one example among many, this almost entirely long-distance internal migration).
