@jawanbroomfield @alexeschmidt123@issa2003_k@stats_feed@POTUS Inflation can't tell you what price something currently is. Inflation states the rate at which the price of something is rising. Lowering inflation doesn't mean making prices lower, it means making them go up less.
@Guimon19@stats_feed@POTUS Lower inflation doesn't mean prices go down, they go up at a slower rate.
General economic consensus is that small inflation is better than recession: "prices being lower next year lowers market activity this year".
So instead the goal is to adjust wages/government programmes.
