Bringing Islamic stories and authentic Hadiths to life through anime. Animated videos are for educational purposes only. The Unseen is known only to Allah.
Jazak Allahu khayran for asking, that's a great question 🤍 Everything in the video is based on the Quran and authentic hadith. Here are the sources, point by point:
1. The dead hearing the footsteps of people walking away: Sahih al-Bukhari 1338, Sahih Muslim 2870 (Anas ibn Malik).
2. The two angels asking "Who is your Lord? What is your religion? Who is your Prophet?": the long hadith of al-Bara' ibn 'Azib, Sunan Abi Dawud 4753 and Musnad Ahmad 18534 (graded sahih by al-Albani and others).
3. Allah making the believer firm in his answer: Quran 14:27, explained by the Prophet ﷺ as referring to the questioning in the grave (Sahih al-Bukhari 1369, Sahih Muslim 2871).
4. The hypocrite/disbeliever saying "I don't know, I just said what people said": Sahih al-Bukhari 1374.
5. "...and behind them is a Barzakh until the Day they are resurrected": Quran 23:99-100.
6. The grave closing in until his ribs are crushed, the door to the Fire opening with its heat and scorching wind, his evil deeds coming as an ugly, foul-smelling figure saying "I am your evil deeds", and him saying "My Lord, do not bring the Hour": all from the hadith of al-Bara' ibn 'Azib (Abu Dawud 4753, Ahmad 18534).
7. "This is your place until Allah raises you on the Day of Resurrection": Sahih al-Bukhari 1379, Sahih Muslim 2866 (Ibn 'Umar).
8. The believer's grave widened as far as his eye can see, a door to Paradise opened with its fragrance, his good deeds coming as a man with a handsome face, and him saying "My Lord, bring the Hour!": the hadith of al-Bara' ibn 'Azib (Ahmad 18534, Abu Dawud 4753).
9. "The grave is either a garden of Paradise or a pit of the Fire": Jami' at-Tirmidhi 2460. Its chain is considered weak by many scholars, but its meaning is supported by the authentic hadith above (Bukhari 1379).
10. The Prophet ﷺ seeking refuge from the punishment of the grave in his prayer and teaching his companions to do the same: Sahih al-Bukhari 832, Sahih Muslim 588 and 590.
May Allah protect us all from the trial and punishment of the grave. If you find anything that needs correcting, please let me know 🤍
That’s a very good question, brother, and I’m happy to explain! ❤️
In Islam, we believe that our knowledge of the Unseen comes from Allah, not from human experience or imagination.
Our two primary sources are:
The Qur’an: The word of Allah, revealed to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through the Angel Jibreel (Gabriel). It describes the Day of Judgment, Paradise (Jannah), Hellfire (Jahannam), resurrection, and what happens after death.
The Sunnah and authentic Hadith: The teachings and narrations of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, preserved and transmitted through generations of scholars and narrators. These provide further details about the grave, Barzakh (the period between death and resurrection), the questioning after death, and the events of the Day of Judgment.
For example, the Qur’an mentions Barzakh in Surah Al-Mu’minun (23:99–100), and the Day of Judgment is described throughout many chapters, including Surah Al-Qiyamah (75) and Surah Az-Zalzalah (99).
We believe that Allah revealed knowledge of these matters to His Messenger, who then taught his companions. His teachings were transmitted and carefully examined by Muslim scholars, who developed methods to distinguish authentic narrations from unreliable ones.
An important distinction: We Muslims do not claim to have personally seen the afterlife or to know everything about it. We believe in what Allah has revealed, while acknowledging that the full reality of the Unseen belongs to Allah alone.
I hope this helps clarify things, brother. You’re always welcome to ask questions about Islam. May Allah guide us all towards the truth. ❤️
Assalamu Alaykum!
I’m new to X, and I genuinely believe this is the only platform where small creators can grow without an established audience.
