Here are the 24 hour estimated rainfall totals in wake of the dangerous flash flooding that occurred over portions of the Mid-South yesterday. As much as 7.48" fell a few miles east of Greenbriar, TN. Additional heavy rainfall is forecast today across much of the Southeast.

CSU has released its Atlantic seasonal #hurricane forecast verification. The June, July & August forecasts reasonably well predicted above-normal season that occurred. Most significant hurricane of 2023 was #Idalia, which caused $2.5 billion in damage.
