Also, the Westville Control Unit is reserved for offenders who disobey orders while in prison. No one STARTS there. That's why this is intentional.

How is the control unit different than other units? Well, do we all remember Joe Corcoran who was executed last week? Inmates on death row get contact visits with attorneys, and unless something has changed, with general visitors as well.

Rick? Nope. When you are in the control unit, you don't get contact visits with anyone. All visits, even with your attorney, is behind glass.

Richard Allen maintains his innocence and looks forward to the appellate process which he anticipates will include adjudication by a neutral, detached and unbiased tribunal. Richard Allen believes that he will be afforded due process
under the law and will be permitted to present a full and complete defense at a future trial in this cause.

Counsel advised him not to participate in providing info for the pre-sentence investigation report to the Allen County probation department as there is no value in him continuing to talk to state actors. Especially one hand picked by judge Gull in Allen County with no input from the defense & no explanation why.

They also mention again that Richard Allen was sent to Westville prison without a hearing or attorneys present and that Dr. Wala, who while having a deep personal interest in this case, engaged in “confidential” discussions with Mr. Allen about
the details of the acts for which he was accused.
