@Paradise266 but the ending is nice, it's surprising to the point i wouldn't believe it was attached to the rest of the game
i believe it has been a great introductory game for teenager not really into media that much but with your level of expertise it's certainly not good enough
@Paradise266 i think the only appeal the game has is just the true ending and with that i mean the ending specifically and not chapter 5 (or was it 4 i don't remember) because that's arguably the worst part of the game
it has one of the worst plot twists in the history of media
@Paradise266 ok so my memory of this game is not that good as you might imagine but i for sure remember a lot of beating around the bush
are you on the first route?
each year, around this time and without fail, i get hit by a random wave of nostalgia and find my way back here, to post some shit for the two people who still read it
@Paradise266 i am going to give it my best shot, i have downloaded bluesky this time too so let's see if i can check in more than once a year
reading the conversations we all used to have back in the day was very fun yesterday
yesterday evening i went through pretty much my whole twitter backlog and it was fun, good times they have been
not that right now the times are not good but i miss that sense of camaraderie in my life
The more i think about it the more it lives rent free in my head
Would it not be for my absolutely irrational (?) bias it would seriously rival my liking for my favorite game
This game is the whole package
Something which only works as a game but it's not just a game
It's cinematic, opera, everything you might think it could be all in a tight package and polished to the best of every developer's ability and their passion overflows on the product
What will you paint?
This question taken out of context might mean nothing but when it comes to the once in a generation experience that was Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 it takes multiple meanings
The world is your canvas
It's your duty to give it your colors
The concept of games breaking the boundaries has always been near and dear to me, figures as a Yoko Taro aficionado but something always bugged me with his pursuit, i think he got close but never really got there 100%
I think the guys at Sandfall Interactive did though
@Paradise266 that's great to hear actually, i think we are better off without or just using in very small amounts
as for seeing me on the timeline... i guess you will occasionally see a post from me, now i am patiently waiting for Apothecary Diaries 2 to finish so i can binge it and write
