my mistake for reading twitter discourse (should know better) but it seems pretty straightforward that there are plenty of things that are pre-requisites for radical formations (like relationship building) but don't in-of-themselves produce them? or whatever
One thing that I think not enough people realise from history is that fascists, in addition to being genocidal, racist and violent, have also always been whiny little pathetic babies who cry victim
DON’T LOOK AWAY🔊
Muhammad and his 2 young children Yaman and Kanan are in dire need of donations to rebuild their lives after the genocide destroyed their clothing store, their livelihood, and their home
Even 5 dollars can make a difference ❤️

@ytnessisdeath I think the fact that sometimes the people involved are well-meaning means people don't want to admit that materially NGOs are a funnel of people's energy and time into useless and ineffective tactics at best and counterproductive, movement disruptive formations at worst...
all of us who want to stop genocidal violence need to seriously and critically reckon with the question of what is to be done. No one has all the answers but if we dont' learn from history and from failure how can we hope to win?
Please share and donate (if you can) - we must do all we can to collectively and materially resist the hostile environment, the UKs racist border regime and the complicity of the higher education system

@mxgbx I think its pretty easy to justify that there should no child actors - it's really exploitative and horrible and its fundamentally child labour!

one of the many reasons why debates about Jewish DNA or ancient/genetic ties to the land of Palestine or lack thereof are really pointless. Settlers are settlers because they engage in settler colonialism (disposession, genocide, land theft, etc). Don't get distracted.
It's important to remember that indigeneity is not about blood or genetic ties to the land (meaningless) but a specific positionality (of land, class, racialisation, etc) under a system of settler colonialism. Race science is the tool of the enemy, we do not need it, etc.
@ytnessisdeath yep, and its not even necessarily up to the students to do this (tho they should be open to linking up, which many are) , this requires all of us, those of us who aren't already need to get off the sidelines and plug in
Remember this to stay grounded & principled & centered, and fck the noise.
Keep organizing to end the genocide & victory to the resistance.
The US as a fascist police state (see : response to student protests against genocide) and the US as an imperialist power that props up another fascist state and supports it in committing genocide are related both materially (IDF and NYP exchanging tactics, etc) and politically.
@ytnessisdeath i think people assume there are accusations of bad intentions, which is aside from the point - when ur organising becomes enmeshed in capital (both state and private), your interests and the way you move change. This is basic materialism
@ytnessisdeath the fact that these people apparently have never experienced how NGOs etc coopt and defang movements, tie up their interests with capital, extract labor from and burn out grassroots activists, etc. (even if they have good intentions), says a lot about their ignorance tbh
