A new paper was published in the Children and Youth Services Review. I explored the trajectory classes of the continuity and change of material hardship in the first five years of children's life and their link with behavioral self-regulation in middle childhood.
I identified four classes: Low Stable (47.4%), Increasing Bill and Utility Hardship (25.2%), High Infancy Bill Hardship (17.1%), and Persistent and Pervasive (10.3%). Children in the Persistent and Pervasive class had the lowest behavioral self-regulation in middle childhood

Co-chaired and presented at #SSHD. Our symposium explored school-based mindfulness research, and I presented on understanding the individual- and classroom-level self-regulation to cultivate adolescents' self-compassion in the context of mindfulness intervention. 🧘♀️#Mindfulness
