The Truth from Thailand: The Origins and Reasons for the Clashes
1. Cambodia organized symbolic activities at Prasat Ta Muen Thom (ปราสาทตาเมือนธม) on February 13, 2025.
2. Cambodia burned Sala Tri Mukh (ศาลาตรีมุข) on February 28, 2025.
3. Thailand discovered trench digging encroaching on its territory by Cambodia between March and April 2025.
4. Cambodia moved troops, weapons, and military equipment near the border in April and May 2025.
5. Cambodia initiated firing at units in the area; Thailand retaliated in self-defense at Chong Bok (ช่องบก). The government attempted to resolve the issue bilaterally on May 28, 2025.

It’s underway!
The Royal Thai Army is leading a delegation of ambassadors from 11 countries, military attachés from 23 nations, and international media, totaling over 105 individuals, to survey the conflict zone in Sisaket Province (จ.ศรีสะเกษ) along the Thai-Cambodian border.
The delegation is guided by Mr. Rasamee Chalitchan, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, Major General Nridl Sukma, Inspector General of the Army, serving as the fact-finding officer, and Major General Prasert Muadchiang, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office.
Today’s itinerary begins with a briefing at the 22nd Military Circle, (มณ��ลทหารบกที่22, มทบ.22), Sapphasit Prasong Camp (ค่ายสรรพสิทธิประสงค์), Warinchamrab District (อ.วารินชำราบ), Ubon Ratchathani Province (จ.อุบลราชธานี). The group will then inspect the damage at a convenience store within a PTT gas station in Ban Phue (ปั๊มน้ำมัน ปตท.บ้านผือ), Nong Ya Lat Subdistrict (ต.หนองหญ้าลาด), Kantharalak District (อ.กัทรลักษณ์), Sisaket Province, where Cambodian forces fired BM-21 rockets, resulting in 8 deaths and 10 injuries. Next, they will visit Phumisorn Witthaya School (โรงเรียนภูมิซรอลวิทยา) in Sao Thong Chai Subdistrict (ต.เสาธงชัย) to observe the affected areas.
Afterward, the delegation will proceed to the Sam Meng Subdistrict Health Promoting Hospital (โรงพยาบาลส่งเสริมสุขภา���ตำบล ซำเม็ง), which was damaged by Cambodian artillery fire, forcing the evacuation of medical staff and patients to a safer location. The hospital remains closed. Finally, the group will visit residents at a refugee center in Kantharalak District to assess living conditions impacted by the recent Cambodian artillery attacks.
