Queensland closed its 2024-25 skilled State Nominated Migration Program on May 27 2025. Registrations of Interest (ROIs) for the onshore, graduates, offshore and regional small business owners pathways are now closed.

The Department of Home Affairs has provided states and territories with reduced nomination allocations for 2023 – 24. Queensland received 1550 skilled visa nominations. There is no Business Innovation and Investment Program (BIIP) allocation for 2023-24 across all jurisdictions.
