I didn't see SAftu in Zondo commission giving evidence of state capture, I don't see SAftu on Madlanga Commission giving evidence of any wrongdoing by any individual, private or public servant. It relies on hearsays, no evidence nothing. SAftu actually Vavi keeps playing with people's emotions, you've got nothing to offer this country. If SAftu continues to be led by this domkop. I can tell without any hesitation, it's heading towards non existence. If SAftu seeks relevance they need to join any political party or form their own political party so that it can debate it's point and be head. For now it's just making a lot of noise as an empty vessel. It remain as an opportunistic organisation always ready to oppose any drive that seeks to drive meaningful change in our society and in our political discourse. The main problem is that, it is led by a bitter, paranoid person to the core. You can't talk about neoliberal system till you die and do nothing about it yet you call yourself a leader. Who are you leading? Writing on X page and talking on media, it doesn't change the status core, it doesn't benefit anyone in that matter. Opposing views are welcome if they come with a solution and concrete evidence. I don't even know a single programme in which SAftu is driving, could be the creation of Jobs, stop inequalities, stop corruption. Only road shows and always on the media trying to be relevant. The people who call themselves lefties, are people who need real change, those people have analysed the political atmosphere and socioeconomic issues affecting our country, it's within their own rights to discuss the way forward.
Moonshot pact, we were once here before. The majority if not all of those parties that form moonshot pact are now part of the GNU which is led by the ANC. The unity that other parties talk about is just lip service and grand standing. One speaker DP of AMM came out and lectured us with Marxism-Leninism theories, in all his speech there was no commitment and declaration to foster unity. The current political atmosphere requires action, solution and change of the mindset which is lacking in our political arena.
uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party deputy president Tony Yengeni has called on left-wing political parties and organisations to unite and work together to take political power in South Africa.

@khayakoko88 Why there is an issue if @SifisoMahlangu_ joined MKP? I know so many journalists who turned into politicians and the head government departments, this is no stranger to our polarised political environment.
The reality is, these reconfigurations have nothing to do with realigning the organisation or improving organisational leadership. The democratic process which the ANC is known for is being undermined. This is the conditioning of the party along with the individual's preferences and ultimately voting line. The ANC NEC in it's current form, structure and system is useless if they allow the transgression of democratic and revolutionary principles. It has made no impact and it's nonsensical in nature and form.
Congratulations and welcome to you my Brother, you were there from the beginning in 2023, and as per our call last night we reflected on the role you played when MK PARTY was announced. There couldn’t have been a better person to take over this responsibility than you.✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾
Congratulations to Mr. Sifiso Mahlangu for your appointment as MKP spokesperson. We also acknowledge the work done by Mr. Nhlamulo Ndhlela, he took MKP from Zero to greater heights. The undeniable revolutionary spirit will never die.
Today, MK Party officials, led by H.E. President Jacob Zuma, held a press briefing at the Premier Hotel in Umhlanga to officially announce the appointment of Sifiso Mahlangu as the party’s new National Spokesperson.
@matinyarare@ShamaseI80733@wicknellchivayo Walala. Where were you hiding all these years when Zimbabwe was under sanctions? Unsanctioning of Zimbabwe is a collaborative effort of all the role players. You might have been part of the team but don't take accolades for that, you wouldn't have done that alone.
The weird, and brainwashing statement by the ANC. If you remove the President, the country will destabilise, rand will fall, the economy will fall. What nonsense is that. Which economy is doing well?
If politics was a joke, he is the biggest joke of all time. It is good to know your limits and stay right there in your lane, don't embarrass yourself and people around you.

Papa Penny Resigns from MK Party and Parliament Citing Internal Attacks
South African musician and MK Party MP Gezane Eric Kobane, popularly known as Papa Penny or the “Shangaan Disco King,” has resigned both from Parliament and as a member of uMkhonto weSizwe (MK) Party.
In a resignation letter dated today and addressed to MK Party President Jacob Zuma, Kobane wrote that he was submitting his resignation “with a heavy heart.”
He said he did not anticipate that “the struggle to attain the emancipation of our people would come at a cost” from within the party itself.
The Limpopo-based artist, who hails from Giyani, specifically pointed to “attacks, vilification and belittling” by the party’s provincial leadership in Limpopo.
He claimed these actions sought to “impair my dignity and reputation which I have built over decades through hard work.” Kobane added that such behaviour from “those within our ranks” amounted to betrayal and was impossible to overlook.
Kobane thanked Zuma for the opportunity to serve in the National Assembly but emphasised that he had joined the MK Party voluntarily and served to the best of his abilities.
He wished the party well and signed off as “Gezane Erick Kobane.”
The veteran Tsonga musician switched from the ANC to the MK Party in May 2024, resigning as a Giyani councillor to join Zuma’s newly formed party ahead of the national elections.
He was subsequently elected to Parliament and became one of the more colourful figures in the MK benches.
