Today QPP commemorates HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day. We celebrate the courage and advocacy of those who came before us. For many #HLTSAD symbolises the 40th anniversary of the start of the AIDS pandemic. The theme is “AIDS at 40: Envisioning a Future We Never Imagined.”
Today we honour the life and legacy of Harvey Milk, the first openly gay politician in California and a leader of the American Civil Rights Movement. Harvey was not only an advocate for the LGBTIQ community, but for all minorities.
Today, May 24th, QPP celebrates Pansexual Visibility Day — a day for our community to uplift, elevate and celebrate those who identify as pansexual. It's an opportunity to bring to light the stories and experiences in society, and to improve inclusivity for pansexual people.
Today QPP acknowledges and celebrates #IDAHOBIT.
Since 2005, IDAHOBIT has been shining a light on the violence, discrimination, and repression of LGBTIQ+ communities worldwide experience. This, in turn provides an opportunity to take action and engage society to create change.
QPP commemorates todays Lesbian Day of Visibility. We share our solidarity with every woman within the LGBTQI community, as well as celebrate lesbians. Lesbian Day of Visibility is a voice for unity and lifts up all women, especially those who come from marginalised communities.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning.
We will remember them.
QPP wish everyone a safe, happy and joyous Easter. We are closed for the Good Friday and Easter Monday public holidays.

Since 2009, it celebrates trans pride and awareness, recognises trans and gender diverse experiences and their achievements.
