But when ruling party is protesting against the opposition... So what's the deal here... Like what's the demand?

Do they want to be in opposition? I guess, No.

INTERESTING: ABVP members march to Vidhan Bhavan in Ranchi protesting exam irregularities. Fair enough. But where was ABVP when exam leaks were exposed in BJP-ruled states, or when students marched at Jantar Mantar?
Why can’t ABVP, NSUI, AISA and SFI come together for a joint action plan against exam leaks and irregularities?
Or does partisan politics mean that where you stand depends on where you sit—with one set of rules for opposition states and another for states ruled by your own party? Why not stand up for ALL affected students in ALL states? 🙏

We understand @JPNadda “Ji’s” desperation to defend his colleague, Amit Shah.

But denying the lived experience of our children - claiming they were not shot when many of them still bear open wounds, and one may even lose his eyesight - is shameful, even by his standards.

As Union Health Minister, he would do well to acknowledge that the RTI replies received by @SaketGokhale from hospitals under his Ministry indicate that at least 10 individuals suffered pellet, shot or projectile injuries.

The break-up is:

⭕️ Lady Hardinge Hospital: 9 persons
⭕️ Safdarjung Hospital: 1 person

And the actual number could be much higher, with responses from AIIMS and RML Hospital still awaited.

❓Now, either Nadda “Ji” is clueless about what is happening in the hospitals under his ministry - in which case, he is incompetent.

❓Or he is lying that no pellets were shot, in which case he is outrightly dishonest.

❓Or he wants to make the rather foolish argument that the pellets were not shot but fell from the sky, in which case he is intellectually unfit.

This is the season of resignations and all this does raise a fair question about his suitability to hold the portfolio he currently occupies.

So, instead of riding to his beleaguered colleague's rescue, Nadda “Ji” might do well to save his own skin and be quiet.
