JUST NOW — Schumer Interrupted: “What could be more corrupt than backing genocide? How dare you talk about corruption. It’s amazing you can show your genocidal face in public!”
It was an honor to serve with Kennyle in Wayne County where she was my Chief of Staff. Kennyle leads with purpose, commitment, passion, and grace — and the people of Wayne County are better off because of her leadership. To continue to have her support means so much to me.

🇺🇸🇵🇸 “If they can do this to an American congressman, what can they do to Palestinians?”
Rep. Ro Khanna (CA-17) was detained for over an hour near Khirbet Zanuta in the occupied West Bank after armed settlers carrying American-made M4 rifles surrounded his van. Khanna said the IDF soldiers who arrived knew an American congressman was in the vehicle and still sided with the settlers rather than helping. Khanna’s group was only released after the U.S. Embassy intervened.
During his days in the West Bank, including Hebron, Bethlehem, Beit Sahour, and Turmus Ayya, Khanna says he witnessed a “culture of impunity.”
He visited the school in Al-Mughayyir, where a 14-year-old boy and a 32-year-old man were killed by settler gunfire earlier this year, and met with Palestinian American families who’ve lost children to Israeli military and settler violence, including the family of Mohammed Zaher Ibrahim, a 16-year-old American citizen from Florida who was held in Israeli prison for over nine months without trial and returned home starving.
Khanna compared the West Bank to the days of Jim Crow in the United States, and says that Americans need to come to the West Bank and see “the apartheid in the West Bank with their own eyes.”

Message your Senators about their votes on blocking bombs and bulldozers to Israel. Find out how your Senators voted and then send them a thank you letter if they voted to block weapons to Israel and a note of protest if they didn't. https://t.co/9D8enpVoMh
BREAKING: Greta Thunberg just eviscerated Trump for his comments about wiping out an entire civilization, dropping multiple F-bombs in the process.
"The President of the United States just said that a whole civilization will die tonight and never to be brought back again and no one is reacting. This speaks for itself, what the f--k is anyone even doing at this point? We have normalized genocide, total annihilation of entire people, the systematic destruction of the biosphere which we are all depending on to survive, and that corrupt racist war criminals can act with complete impunity. But even though we have allowed far too much so far, it is not too late to say 'stop!' If we don’t, we shouldn’t f--king be able to call ourselves human"
O Allah,
Shatter the oppressors, restrain them, and make of them a warning to those who seek to follow their ways.
Protect the innocent wherever they are. Shield the vulnerable from every harm. Bring swift justice to those who spread it throughout the earth.
Our Lord, the corruption has been laid bare for all to see. Now let us see the corrupt stripped of their power in every way, and do not let us be counted among them in any way.

Two years ago, @nytimes published “Screams Without Words,” Zionist propaganda which used unsubstantiated claims to justify a genocide in Gaza. I join the Palestine solidarity movement to call for its retraction. @carolynryan https://t.co/PErGDieO22
