Hello #GameMaker people!
Do you own a Nintendo Switch and would you like to play around with the Joycons on Windows?
I've made a DLL extension which picks up Joycon input as if it was a gamepad! Including analog and motion support!
Get it here for free: https://t.co/Mfww4Ypf7t
This #screenshotsaturday watch a poopy bull getting baited and stuck in a slime!

For this and other wacky combos, try Card Hog while it barely costs anything: โ๏ธhttps://t.co/0Na6Y2uX3X

@SnoutUp In fact, the argument that "the popup ruins emersion" proves its use, considering one pressed the button when they didn't want to and got "disturbed" by it.
Imagine what would've happened without the popup... People would be complaining that it's too easy to accidentally exit.
@E_Krenis@SnoutUp Hence why it's also easy to accidentally press confirm when you don't want to.
I'd prefer the Tab/Alt/LCtrl key instead. Basically anything I can't press without slightly moving my hand.
@DATURA_____ @Ryemanni R1: Gendoors and killdoors were a bit of a design mistake imo
R2: OK design but rushed at the end so the final levels aren't very well done
R3: Improvements on R2, but missed some player guiding
RO/L: Improved on all issues above
R3 still remains my favourite though I voted RO/L
@BenstarDEV Example:
Many European countried still use the QWERTY keyboard because it's so integrated in society, even though it's originally designed to be difficult to use.
Alternative keyboards exist, but they only appeal to very nieche communities.
Public standards exist; Use them! ๐
@BenstarDEV Please stick to Escape. It's a public standard by now.
People have been getting very used to pressing the Escape button, so moving this feature to a different key (even if it's more natural!), it's going to throw more people off than it will do good.
