For the last year the Dutch Donald Duck publisher also released a Christmas special. Unfortunately I started collecting late, but now I get some of the olders issues and I love it. Some of these covers are classics! #Ducktalk

Love the new @donaldduckweekblad Cover. Great cross-over with Stitch who smashed the box office this year. I saw more European publications using it.

It's Daisy's birthday! And the Dutch weekly Donald Duck Comic published a special birthday edition. In the main story, classic stories are referenced ending w/ a collection of memories!

TASCHEN is set to release a new book covering the Carl Barks Library. This new book will be 552 pages and will cover the Donald Duck comics drawn by Barks from 1942–1950.

Today is King's Day in the Netherlands.

Back in 2014 (weekly comic number 17) the Donald Duck Weekblad had this amazing cover (HC DD2014-17) by Jan-Roman Pikula. Showing Donald as King, and his nephews are seen carrying his long robe/train.

Yesterday I got an email from my local comic book store that he received this book, the Uncle Scrooge and the Infinity Fine - Gallery Edition. And wow, what an amazing book with not only the story from the comic but tons of additional art and background info! #Ducktalk

For the 90th Anniversary of "The Band Concert", I had to find my pin set of "The Band Concert" in this special box. Love how it looks #Ducktalk

90 Years ago "The Band Concert" premiered. It was the first Mickey short made in Technicolor. This is also the 4th animated appearance of Donald Duck. The tune that Donald plays, "Turkey in the Straw", is the same tune that Mickey played in "Steamboat Willie" #Ducktalk
