Fuel subsidy under previous administrations:

Obasanjo -- ₦570bn
Yar’Adua -- ₦794bn

Tinubu removed the petrol subsidy in May 2023.

That is over ₦16 trillion across those administrations.

Guess what? A significant portion of the money used to sustain the subsidy was financed through borrowing.

The 110 km Circular Road project is being constructed by the H.E. Seyi Makinde-led Oyo State Government. The Federal Government needs to stop claiming the project as one of its own achievements. The project is not "state-led" as stated in today's Punch Newspaper; it is 100% being executed by the OYSG.

This penchant for stealing OYSG projects needs to stop! The other day, Minister Nyesom Wike LIED that the FG gave Oyo State N50B for the Ibadan Airport upgrade project. The Ibadan Airport upgrade is another project being executed 100% by the OYSG, which the FG, through its agents, including HoR member Akin Alabi, has been trying to claim credit for.

Even before increment of FAAC, Seyi Makinde has been paying salaries on 25th and he has been clearing backlogs of pensions owed by previous administrations.

Now the question is how does increase in FAAC solve inflation in prices of goods.

How does Kaduna getting more FAAC help solve increment in price of cement from 2,500 to 13,500?

How does Enugu getting more FAAC help solve hunger ?

How does Borno getting more FAAC help solve students that are kidnapped?
