Today's Rare Pepe Lore Lesson™️ is Series 15, Card 3, GAUDISPEPE. The creator of the card is unknown.
This is a 1/125 card with none for sale as of the time of this writing. The last sale occurred on 25 Sept. 2025 for $351 USD.
38 wallets hold a copy of this card and the largest holder has 63.2% of the total supply (79/125).
The artist of this card pepefied a photo of the famous Gaudí lizard, known as "El Drac" (The Dragon).
The card artist added a beautiful mosaic border and lettering to complete the aesthetic.
El Drac was designed by the Spanish architect and designer Antoni Gaudí (25 June 1852 - 10 June 1926) using the trencadís (broken ceramic tile) technique. Completed between 1900 and 1914 the vibrant sculpture stands guard over the Dragon Staircase at the main entrance of Park Güell in Barcelona Spain.

Today's Rare Pepe Lore Lesson™️ is Series 31, Card 7 - WHEREWOLFKEK by @FeelsGoodMel. This is a 1/105 card with a current floor price of .24 BTC ($15,243 USD).
Only 18 wallets hold a copy of this card and the creator still owns 65.7% of the total supply (69/105).
I was talking to Mel about his cards today and he revealed that he was only 16 when he made them! All six of his Rare Pepes are digital creations based on sketches he did with a friend who was studying drawing at the time. He was kind enough to split the procedes of card sales, but since the friend wasn't in to crypto he recieved his cut in Euros.
Sadly WEREWOLFKEK is the only one that he held on to. The other 5 are lost to time.
WHEREWOLFKEK was drawn twice. The original is on the right. He said that after a few days he changed his mind and published the image on the left.
Both portray a pepefied werewolf taking a human's bitcoins but the final (approved) version is less gory, displays more of the human victim and is more vibrant.

Today's Rare Pepe Lore Lesson™️ is Series 3, Card 50 - FOLDERPEPE. The creator of the card is FoldingCoin. This is a 1/600 card with a current floor price of .00092 BTC ($55 USD).
174 wallets hold a copy of the card and the largest has just 3% of the total supply (18/600).
Items on the card include Pepe's face, a hand drawn lab coat, stethoscope, and head mirror. On the lab coat is the logo for the Folding@Home project. There is also an example of a folded protein, the FoldingCoin logo, and a ball-and-stick model of the amino acid Cysteine. The text includes FoldingCoin's mission statement, "Mine Medicine Not Hashes". The cards stats are infinite hearts, and 100% DNA.
In November of 2016, FoldingCoin, Inc. made a special rewards announcement that they had created a certified Rare Pepe card (FOLDERPEPE) which would be exclusively distributed to qualified folders contributing to Stanford´s Folding@Home (FAH) project through the FoldingCoin platform. To earn the card you had to among other things, fold 100k FAH points or more per month.
How it worked:
You ran Folding@home on your computer. Folding@home awarded "points" for completed work units. FoldingCoin downloaded the Folding@home statistics. FLDC Counterparty tokens were distributed proportionally to contributors based on their folding work.
The site is now offline, but a cached copy of the announcement is below.
FoldingCoin is a token built on the Bitcoin blockchain using the Counterparty protocol. Instead of rewarding hash power, it rewarded people who contributed CPU/GPU power to the Folding@home protein-folding network.
Folding@home (FAH or F@h) is a distributed computing project aimed to help scientists develop new therapeutics for a variety of diseases by the means of simulating protein dynamics. This includes the process of protein folding and the movements of proteins, and is reliant on simulations run on volunteers' personal computers.

Today's Rare Pepe Lore Lesson™️ is Series 27, Card 31 - PEPEFAMOUS by @RAR3HANDS. This is a 1/100 card with none for sale as of the time of this writing. The last sale occurred on 10 April 2025 for $1,081 USD.
Only 9 wallets hold a copy of this card and the largest has 90% of the total supply (90/100). That wallet has been dormant for 9 years meaning this could be a 1/10 card now (NFA, DYOR).
This is a hand-drawn parody of the movie poster for the 2000 American comedy drama film Almost Famous. The artist added in some digital pixelation for visual interest, especially around the lips. The text at the top has been changed from "Jerry Maguire" to "Pepe Maguire" and the credits have been replaced with a large "PEPE FAMOUS". This was done to make room in the reflection of the sunglasses for a silhouetted musician.
I did some digging for the line "All you dank ****** want to be pepe famous" but came up empty. Perhaps @RAR3HANDS can shed some light on it?
The woman featured on the poster is Kate Hudson who plays Penny Lane (Lady Goodman) in the movie. Written by Cameron Crowe, the film performed poorly in theaters, grossing $47.4 million against a $60 million budget. It was however widely acclaimed by critics and earned four Academy Award nominations, including a win for Best Original Screenplay. The film also won two Golden Globe Awards, one for Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and another for Best Supporting Actress – Motion Picture for Hudson. It is now considered a cult classic.

Today's Rare Pepe Lore Lesson™️ is Series 35, Card 6 - JOLIELEGPEPE. The creator of the card is unknown. This is a 1/111 card with a current floor price of .0049 BTC ($362 USD).
68 wallets hold a copy of the card and the token owner's wallet still has 13.5% of the total supply (15/111). Ownership of the token was transferred about a year ago and then swept to a third address 5 months ago. It's unclear whether or not it is the same person or not.
This is a pepefied image of American actress Angelina Jolie in a Versace dress at the 2012 Academy Awards ceremony. The artist removed the background and added a clip-art style red carpet and background. They made her face a bit wider to accommodate the Pepe eyes and mouth.
Some interesting effects were used on the skin and hair. I wonder if it was an early AI?
Jolie made her screen debut as a child alongside her father, Jon Voight, in Lookin' to Get Out (1982). Her film career began in earnest a decade later with the low-budget production Cyborg 2 (1993), followed by her first leading role in Hackers (1995). She holds an Academy Award, a Tony Award, and three Golden Globe Awards for her work.
She's been married (and divorced) 3 times and has 6 children. In her later years she has became very involved in humanitarian efforts. The causes she promotes include conservation, education, and women's rights.

Today's Rare Pepe Lore Lesson™️ is Series 26, Card 5 - PEPEVANEYCK by @EverydayEarth. This is a 1/234 card with a current floor price of .04 BTC ($3,061 USD).
89 wallets hold a copy of this card and the largest controls 20.94% of the total supply (49/234).
This card is a parody of The Arnolfini Portrait (also known as The Arnolfini Wedding, The Arnolfini Marriage, The Portrait of Giovanni Arnolfini and his Wife).
Here OE has replaced the mirror on the back wall with a PEPECASH logo, the wife's head with that of a Wojak, the husband with Pepe, and the family dog with Kabosu, the female Shiba Inu from Japan who became hugely popular as the face of Dogecoin.
The Arnolfini Portrait is dated 1434 and is now in the National Gallery, London. It is considered one of the most original and complex paintings in Western art, because of its beauty, complex iconography, geometric orthogonal perspective, and expansion of the picture space with the use of a mirror.
It depicts the Italian merchant Giovanni di Nicolao Arnolfini and his wife, presumably in their residence at the Flemish city of Bruges (which is mentioned by OE in the token's description).

This is a 1 of 1 card which last sold on September 30, 2016 for 5 million PEPECASH ($380 USD). The card has moved through 8 different wallet addresses over the past 10 years but there are no other recorded sales other than the above.
Happy Bitcoin Pizza Day!!! On this day in 2010 history was made when programmer Laszlo Hanyecz exchanged 10,000 bitcoins for two Papa John’s pizzas. This transaction was the first widely recognized real-world commercial purchase using Bitcoin proving that Bitcoin could function as a medium of exchange.
The transaction put the value of 10,000 Bitcoin at roughly $41 USD. At Bitcoins ATH, that would be over 1 billion dollars. Hanyecz has repeatedly said he doesn’t regret it. From his perspective, spending BTC was the whole point. If nobody had used Bitcoin to buy things, Bitcoin may never have grown into what it became.

Today's Rare Pepe Lore Lesson™️ is Series 3, Card 3 - SCARFACEPEPE by @shawnleary. This is a 1/1,983 card with a current floor price of .025 BTC ($1,985 USD).
271 wallets hold a copy of this card and Shawn still controls 80% of the total supply (1,587/1,983).
This card is a pepefied version of the movie poster for the 1983 American crime drama film Scarface. Directed by Brian De Palma and written by Oliver Stone, Scarface is a remake of the 1932 film of the same name. The remake stars Al Pacino as Cuban refugee Tony Montana.
Shawn turned the background and Pacino's suit jacket green and painted a Pepe mask over his face. The token mint number is the same as the release year of the film.

Today's Rare Pepe Set Lesson™️ is the Harry Potter Character Set. The creator of the cards is unknown.

Each is a 1/100 card however HARRYPEPES and VOLDEPEPE each have a circulating supply of 99 after 1 of each was sent to the burn address 1BurnRustxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxzhjnHj where they will remain locked in battle forevermore.
None of the 4 are for sale as of the time of this writing. A HARRYPEPES sold in Oct. 2024 for $482. The last VOLDEPEPE sale occurred in July 2025 for $1,296 and the other two last sold in August 2025 for a total of $685 making the grand total for the set $2,465.
These cards must have been a group effort because the same 3 wallets hold the bulk of the supply of each (between 61 and 69 of each).
If you exclude those 3 creator wallets, there are only 10 wallets holding the complete set of 4 cards.
These cards are of course pepefied versions of characters from the Harry Potter franchise. From left to right we have Harry Potter, Lord Voldemort, Rubeus Hagrid, and Albus Dumbledore.
