If you come across this
Say me a PRAYER 😇🙏
Something interesting happened between me and my husband as we were planning Covabodi
I remember calling my husband and being so excited about the colour combo for the hall decor and the balloon Photo Booth
My husband was like “babe, that’s cute o but don’t you think we need to get a hotel close to the venue for you to stay?”
“Don’t you think we need to get bouncers to mount at the gate and provide security detail?”
Omo my mind did not even go to all those ones
Me I was busy brainstorming dress code
And herein I believe lies the uniqueness of the man and the woman
It is how that we think differently
All of us cannot be thinking about ballon decor
Someone should be thinking about security detail and logistics
Same thing when we had Willam
I remember researching heavily about the best skin care routine, and the fabric type that would be best for him.
Having deep thoughts about the difference between linen or cotton.
My husband was busy researching how we could get his Canadian passport ASAP.
Man was even researching how he would get into Harvard
In my head I was like “for pikin wey never even start to waka?
I believe that those who understand how that our differences are the best part of us as man and woman.
As someone is thinking bib, someone else should be researching passport.
You can never find people that understand this basic concept talking nonsense like “women only bring babies, men are more important “
Or “men are just useless, na woman dey hold house”
Women and men in a beautiful marriage should be like a venn diagram.
Uniquely having our own circles, but still finding a way that the similar numbers we both share will make us still intersect
If you don’t understand this venn diagram analogy, no be me say make you no pay attention for maths class o
Blessings.

This was a simple case of people who work very closely together taking time to be a distant to be sure that they were hearing clearly from God and not just being in mushy feelings
Very basic stuff every real believer understands
I was on a motorcycle same days ago and I was trying to give the rider directions
He kept asking me to repeat it
I assumed he could not hear because of the wind so I raised my voice and tried shouting
Then it clicked
I said it in Hausa just once and he got it.
Just one sentence and he understood immediately
It was not in the shout
It was not in the repetition
It was the language
The Holyspirit was letting me know that a lot of us struggle to hear God because we are not speaking His language
We wonder why we are not hearing clear instructions and directions even though we pray the loudest
You dance the hardest
You’re the one that is everywhere in church but you can’t remember when last you heard God clearly about anything
You don’t understand that His language is not how much but how well
His language is humility so desiring to have so you can pepper your neighbours is a lost cause
He cares more about the size of your obedience than the size of your audience
So while you’re trying to gather a large crowd before you hold that prayer meeting God has left you and is putting the burden on someone else that will act promptly
His language is contrition so while you’re wondering why God is using that your roommate that used to be promiscuous and not you
While you were busy showing him your clean record and being proud about it , that lady was begging God in her closet that if he shows her mercy she will give the rest of her life to Him
You need to understand His language then you can hear even His whispers
Selah!
I was studying my bible yesterday and the Holyspirit was teaching me something profound
He took me to the wise men and was showing me how that when something significant is happening in the spiritual, there are people who are able to see or perceive or just know
And these men went to celebrate it
They went to honour it
They did not pretend they were not aware of the star shining brightly
Funny thing is we don’t even know if they knew by the spirit of God but they knew and they went
And guess what, forever their names are in scripture
This is what made the wise men wise. It was not just that they saw greatness happening it was that they align themselves with that move and got so close that you cannot tell the story of the birth of Jesus without mentioning the wise men.
Dear you, anytime you see God lifting your friend, that’s not the time to pretend you’re not seeing it
Anytime there’s a sudden surge of lifting and help and open doors, draw near there
Celebrate it
Honour it if you can
Serve there if you can
If your friend is getting married dance with all your might in her reception
If the door of ministry or travel or exploits is open for a neighbour, be the loudest person clapping
If you’re trusting God for the fruit of the womb and your church members are having babies, go there and wash baby clothes and sweep
Do it sincerely because God does not work in isolation. If he’s doing it for one it means there’s possibility for it to be done to you too
I hope you learn a thing or two as I am learning
Blessings.
To My Lover, Foluke.
Great has been the journey of walking side by side with you. And so today, on your 78th birthday, is a gift to me, to have the world join me in doing what I have spent 58 years doing: celebrating you.
With you, the weight of the assignment has always been a lighter cross to carry. Our two have agreed, and so our walking together has been of divine stride, a race continuously illuminated, step after step, decade after decade. My path shines brighter because I walk it with you.
Many people know you as Mummy G.O. I have the privilege of knowing you simply as my wife, my friend, and the person who has stood with me through every challenge, every victory, and every assignment God has given us. I have watched you give strength to others even when you were tired yourself. I have seen your quiet sacrifices, your compassion, your wisdom, and your unwavering trust in God. Those are the things that make me thank God for you every day.
Our children have been blessed because of your love. The family of God has been blessed because of your devotion. Countless homes have been strengthened because you answered God’s call with all your heart.
Seventy-eight years of your life, fifty-eight years of them beside me, and still I find new reasons to thank God for you. You have been wife, counsel, and companion in every sense the word was ever meant to hold.
As you celebrate today, my prayer is simple. May the God whom you have served so faithfully continue to uphold you. May He surround you with His peace, fill your days with fresh joy, strengthen your body, renew your strength, and continue to satisfy you with His goodness. May the years ahead be even more fruitful than those behind, and may you continue to see the mighty hand of God at work in your life.
Thank you for walking hand in hand with me. Happy 78th birthday, my love.
Your loving husband,

In a world where many doubt the supernatural, it is important that those who have experienced the hand of God in a tangible manner never keep silent about it.
If you’ve ever experienced a healing or miracle, share in the comments.
Someone might desperately need your testimony to be encouraged.
