Do not stay at Embassy Suites in Syracuse NY. We have been waiting 90minutes for sheets. We have phoned front desk over 4 times and still no sheets for our child’s pull out sofa. What dismal customer service.
@falconMillenniu@cheesedoff3@RoyalFamily Spencer genes are strong within Prince George; Princess Charlotte resembles the late Queen Elizabeth II, and Middleton genes are strong within Prince Louis.
@LangmanVince She has foot-in-mouth disease. There is no cure. She should stay away from people holding microphones asking questions. Perhaps she should look for a new career.
@Rimmesfk@KensingtonRoyal@ITV@ITVX Being treated with chemotherapy for pre-cancerous cells saves lives as these cells will eventually become cancerous. I know because 16 yrs ago I received two treatments of chemo for pre-cancerous cells. Cancer screenings save lives.
They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condem
At the going down of the sun & in the morning
We will remember them ❤️❤️

Today in 1970, after several trying and difficult days, the Apollo 13 mission splashed down on Earth. It was a time of great relief, not only for us in the astronaut corps, but for all Americans, and indeed, our friends watching around the world. The steadiness of 13’s crew, and the dedicated, unstoppable support from the @NASA team on the ground truly transformed a potential disaster into a brilliant moment of heroism and achievement. We were so glad to have you all home, gentlemen.
"Facebook's Algorithmic Erasure of History"
We wish to express our deep concern regarding the recent action of @facebook simultaneously flagging 21 posts published by the Auschwitz Memorial.
The posts, which serve as tributes to individual victims of Auschwitz, have been unjustly targeted by this platform's content moderation system, citing absurd reasons such as "Adult Nudity and Sexual Activity," "Bullying and Harassment," "Hate Speech," and "Violence Incitement."
The Auschwitz Memorial, an institution dedicated to preserving the memory of the victims of the German Nazi camp, has been met with unprecedented action at the hands of Facebook. The posts in question feature nothing but respectful remembrance and historical documentation, showcasing the faces and biographical information of those who suffered and were murdered in a place that symbolizes one of the darkest chapters of human history.
Despite our immediate appeal and request for review, only a fraction of the flagged posts have been reinstated.
Moreover, we also noticed that a post commemorating the tragic fate of Jewish children from an orphanage in Izieu from 6 April was summarily removed without the possibility of recourse.
The rationale provided by the Facebook system, claiming that these posts resemble content that violates Community Standards, is utterly confounding. For years, the Auschwitz Memorial has been sharing similar content without any issues, yet suddenly, 21 posts are simultaneously flagged. This raises serious doubts about the efficacy and accuracy of your content moderation technology.
This egregious incident not only undermines the important work of our institution. Such an act is unacceptable and offensive to the memory of the victims of Auschwitz that we try to preserve. It is hurtful to Survivors, descendants, and all those committed to preserving historical truth.
We demand an immediate and thorough review of this matter, along with a transparent explanation of why these posts were flagged in the first place.

6 April 1892 | Russian Jewish woman Eugenie Wechsler (nee Peschkin) was born in Leningrad. She emigrated to Berlin and was arrested in occupied France.
She was deported from Drancy to Auschwitz and murdered in a gas chamber.
My favourite John Savident story (and there were many). As I recall it, as he recalled it to me during my Coro St days.
He was stocking up on some Christmas booze one year at a posh off license in the West End. Ahead of him at the counter there’s a woman placing an order. John S thinks, ‘oh damn - I’m sure I’ve worked with her in something, but for the life of me I can’t remember what, or even her name.’ So he tries to strike up a conversation - ‘Oh hello, my darling, lovely to see you again!’ - bit of actors’ chat.
She’s polite but a bit icy. ‘How’s work? Doing panto this year?’ he asks. ‘No’, she replies, with a bit of a stare.
She heads off. John Savident thinks, oh, bit toffee-nosed her, wish I could remember her name and what we were in together, I know that face so well …
A moment later the penny drops.
‘Oh God. That was Princess Margaret.’
"Holocaust Memorial Day offers a valuable opportunity for the richly diverse communities of this nation to come together and recommit to building a society free from antisemitism, persecution and hatred."
🕯️The King has sent a message to all those marking Holocaust Memorial Day tomorrow.

@CBSSunday Grief is not something you get over it is something you learn to live with. Life keeps going and our love for those we have lost will always exist, although it may fade over time. Peace be with you.
