Canada is on fire.
Europe is on fire.
The Amazon is on fire.
Cities are breaking heat records.
Rivers are drying up.
Other countries are drowning in floods.
Storms are getting stronger.
Seasons don’t feel like seasons anymore.
And somehow…
climate change is still a debate.
last week, as Taylor Farms' lettuce was turning Americans into human shit-geysers, their top executives were meeting at the White House, trying to derail the investigations. what the fuck? thank you for your attention to today's post in which I bring all the receipts. link is here: https://t.co/MtatRtzfgN
Live shot of the White House. The flags are back at full-staff despite the deaths of two U.S. service members in Iran. Lindsey Graham gets the respect, but our military doesn't?
Erin Brockovich on data centers: “You’re pushing people too far at this point. You’re taking their water. Their air is jeopardized. Their land is jeopardized. Their sanctuary is jeopardized. Their wildlife is jeopardized. The trees, the rivers, the creeks, the birds, all of it”
We do NOT have insecure elections.
We have an insecure President.
NOTE: All malignant narcissists are insecure. They use bluster and bravado in an effort to force respect and legitimacy, which they're unable to garner through merit.
Not only was Trump golfing while these two Americans made the ultimate sacrifice for his illegal war of choice, he’s now going to a soccer game instead of consoling the families who lost their loved ones.
That is who Donald Trump is.
The FBI will no longer investigate ICE agents for crimes they commit while enforcing immigration law.
Don’t ever tell me again that this isn’t the Gestapo.
BREAKING: PAVED PARADISE! Trump is putting a giant granite helipad smack in the middle of the White House lawn so he can use a bigger helicopter – paid for by the company that sold it to him!
Donald Trump is transforming one of America's most recognizable green spaces into a permanent black granite helipad so his newer, more powerful version of Marine One will no longer scorch the grass where it used to land.
Even better for Trump, the project isn't coming out of his pocket or even directly from taxpayers: it's being financed by Lockheed Martin, the defense contractor that manufactures the helicopter.
Previous administrations considered the problem but always found solutions that left the historic White House grounds intact. Not Donnie the Builder. He thinks it's his house, not the people’s.
Construction crews are now installing a 100-foot-wide granite landing pad just steps from the White House itself, permanently altering grounds that have remained largely unchanged through generations of presidents.
In a remarkable arrangement, the company that builds the helicopter is paying to modify the White House grounds so the helicopter can operate there more easily, and deliver Trump to his front door like some kind of fake royalty.
Lockheed Martin, the country’s biggest defense contractor with more $75 billion in sales to the government last year, insists the donation complies with all ethics rules and says it was made through the National Park Service. Still, the optics are difficult to ignore.
Trump recently remarked that "there's no harder zoning thing to get" than approval for a helipad. For ordinary Americans, that might be true, but for Trump, he just does it. (He can’t be denied approval if he didn’t ask for it, right?)
The project also appears to have bypassed the kind of scrutiny that is supposed to accompany major changes to historic federal property. Nobody asked Congress to approve it, and the White House says review by the Commission of Fine Arts was not required.
For generations, Marine One landed on temporary pads that could be rolled away after each flight. That was sufficient for presidents from both parties.
Not for Trump, of course, who thinks not of history or posterity or beauty, but only of himself.
The South Lawn of the White House is one of the most recognizable public spaces in the United States, the front yard of a house that belongs to the American people.
Joni Mitchell once sang about paving paradise.
The White House has survived for more than two centuries because presidents understood they were caretakers, not owners. They occupied it for a few years and then passed it on to the next elected resident.
Trump’s radically different attitude about his stewardship of the presidency. From the Rose Garden to the ballroom/bunker, this new outrage of paving the heart of the White House lawn to deliver him directly to the front door, he’s leaving projections of his ultra-tacky aesthetic all over the place, no doubt to be removed later by a more thoughtful leader.
To Trump, tradition matters only when it serves him, and history only when it flatters him.
Long after Donald Trump is gone, the White House will still belong to the American people. The question is how well we can stop him from destroying it bit by bit.
Ha sido católico, mormón, bautista, anti-Trump, pro-Trump, pro-inmigrante, anti-inmigrante, anti-guerra de Irán, pro-guerra de Irán...

BREAKING: Iran is seriously considering a ground incursion into Kuwait to seize U.S. military bases, including Camp Buehring and either Camp Arifjan or Ali Al Salem Air Base, if Washington continues its military campaign against Tehran, according to Prominent Iranian journalist and analyst Mahdi Khanalizadeh and former Iranian Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki.
Mahdi Khanalizadeh: "Kuwait is considered one of Iran's principal options for a potential ground incursion aimed at seizing the two U.S. military bases located within the country."
Former Iranian Foreign Minister Mottaki previously said Iran could launch a ground operation to capture U.S. troops and take them as prisoners to Iran if necessary, while Iranian officials have warned that "no political border will be safe" and that Tehran would shift to a "full-scale offensive" if U.S. strikes continue.
This isn't getting enough attention.
Donald Trump is quietly making millions from lawsuit settlements.
Does anyone believe that he would be winning these massive settlements if not for the implicit threat of retribution from the government?
It's corruption.
Just want to point out, with a few exceptions the Democrats absolutely sucked at the Todd Blanche hearing. They each just spoke and grandstanded, and didn’t focus on specific things…. Like Gislane Maxwell.
Ossoff made all the headlines and it wasn’t even the Blanch hearing. It was another dude.
Get it together yall
Every single day during the presidency of Joe Biden, the Strait of Hormuz was open. Biden never pushed to have monuments built for himself. Biden never made prime time announcements 100% filled with false claims. And Biden never confused one of his ex-wives with a woman he raped.
