Rewatched Breakfast at Tiffany’s. I just felt like it… it’s definitely dated, but the heart of the story holds up.

The blues are when you’re sad, you know what youre feeling and why. The mean reds are when youre afraid and you don’t even know what you’re afraid of.. it’s the strange fear you cant quite name..

In the end, Tiffany’s was never really about the glam. It was the feeling of safety where the mean reds couldnt catch her. And maybe Paul was the person who eventually gave her what she had been looking for in a place.. 💕 Even finding Cat felt symbolic too.

Maybe that’s why Moon River still feels the way it does. Beneath all Tiffanys and glam, it’s really a story about two people trying to outrun loneliness, searching for a place or a person… that finally feels like home. 🌙 Beautiful.. classic.

A little detour from the F1 weekend..got lost in Kinokuniya instead. This bookstore is a haven! 🫶🏻

"Just browsing" is a beautiful concept, until you meet the Penguin classics section. Treated myself to a little souvenir.. calling it a very early birthday haul.. ^teehee 😆🥰

@albonosainz I’m just so grateful the Grab I booked for my family didn’t cancel and was able to reach them… but they still had to walk and cross the highway to the KLIA 3 gas station. Gosh, and they were in ponchos too 😭

F1 Sepang was fun, but the transport situation after practice I heard was rough.. I managed to Grab myself out early, I cannot stand the heat; left to just do some solo soul searching and book hunting..😉

But my cousins and friends stayed.. Long shuttle lines, packed buses, people walking toward KLIA/Mitsui just to get out. Really hoping improvement for tomorrow and the actual race day. I even have to Grab them out coz there’s weak signal at the venue.. i don’t feel like going anymore.. I hope people safely got back home or to their hotels! #F1 #SepangGP #BahrainGP

September wrap-up.. I read whatever my mood asked for… Some I loved, some I argued with, some emotionally destroyed me. But what a reading month.

I get what you mean.. East of Eden is character driven, not suspense driven.. I’ve been on this book since August, reading 1-2 chapters a day. It’s a slow-burning contemplative family saga. For me I’m just like living with them… watching the kids grow, observing what Adam will do, etc. I literally can hear crickets while they’re having dinner, for real.. 😉 I’m still curious how everything will unfold.

After a kilo of mascarpone and a few lessons in overwhipping…I finally managed to make that fluffy, cloud-like tiramisu cream.. 🥳

Made two trays. The first one vanished. I scraped every last bit, and now only the pretty tray remains.

Not bad for someone who accidentally made butter on her first attempt.
