No. 8 Midwest Basketball Club upset No. 9 Team Lillard, 69-68, in an overtime classic to advance to the 17U championship game. After overcoming a 12-point deficit, Midwest relied on elite ball security and perimeter shooting to complete the comeback. Midwest committed just one turnover, knocked down 11 three-pointers, and shot 44.0% from beyond the arc, maximizing every possession in a game decided by a single point.

The contest featured seven lead changes, with Team Lillard responding behind the playmaking of Nathalio Gray Jr. and the shooting of Elijah Stanley. Midwest answered with timely shot-making throughout the second half before Andrew Walker buried the go-ahead three-pointer in overtime. Despite playing through an ankle injury, Cooper Zachary led Midwest with 19 points, while he and Ben Mirgon combined for 36 points and eight made three-pointers to power the No. 8 seed into the championship game.
