Last week wasn’t perfect—but it was full.
Joy and inconvenience can exist in the same week.
Maybe that’s what a full life looks like: making room for all of it.
What did your week teach you?
#QueenEarlene
Sometimes the productive weeks don’t look productive on social media.
Healing.
Family.
Transitions.
Showing up.
Tonight, I kept one promise to myself: I got on the treadmill.
Not every week is about creating.
Sometimes it’s about living.
#QueenEarlene#ProgressNotPerfection
Sometimes we need someone to remind us we still have a chance.
The season ended today, but the lesson remains:
Keep swinging. ⚾💙

Father’s Day isn’t only about biological fathers.
It’s also about the grandfathers, uncles, mentors, coaches, and men who stepped into father-sized spaces.
Love leaves a legacy. 💙

Some people carried pieces of me when I couldn’t carry myself.
They didn’t have all the answers.
They didn’t fix everything.
They simply stayed.
Today I’m grateful for the people who stayed. 💜
#QueenEarlene#Gratitude
Sometimes freedom arrives disguised as uncertainty.
The thing you’ve prayed to leave behind becomes familiar.
The thing you’ve prayed for requires courage.
Two things can be true:
I can be grateful to move forward and still honor what I’m leaving behind.

The older I get, the more I realize self-care isn’t about indulgence.
It’s about stewardship.
Stewardship of the body, mind, and life God entrusted to me.
One choice.
One habit.
One day at a time.
#QueenEarlene#ThingsImThinkingAboutToday
My heart is making room for nuance.
Two things can be true at the same time.
Gratitude & grief.
Excitement & sadness.
Boundaries & compassion.
Endings & beginnings.
Life isn’t always either/or.
Sometimes it’s both/and. 💜

God asked Solomon what he wanted.
He didn’t ask for wealth.
He didn’t ask for power.
He asked for a listening heart.
That’s my prayer today:
Lord, give me a listening heart.
A mature heart.
A discerning heart.
A wise heart.

Not every swing connects.
Not every inning goes your way.
But you keep showing up.
Tonight I was tired, but youth sports reminded me that resilience isn’t always loud. Sometimes it looks like showing up anyway.

Sometimes God isn’t just protecting you from the people who hurt you.
Sometimes He’s protecting you from becoming what hurt you.
Not every battle belongs to you.

As Memorial Day comes to a close—
Remembering those who served.
Those who sacrificed.
Those who never made it home.
🇺🇸🤍
May we carry gratitude beyond today.

As we head into a holiday weekend—
Rest is productive.
Joy matters.
People matter.
Life moves fast.
Don’t forget to live it while you’re living it.
✨ My Time. My Renaissance.

I used to think strength meant pushing harder.
Now I'm learning strength can look like rest.
Protect your peace.
Growth changes what strength looks like.

“There’s a lot going on in my brain and I can’t quiet it down to swing the bat.”
That’s what Marvin told us after shutting down during baseball. 💔⚾️
He feared we’d be upset if he didn’t hit the ball.
So we changed it:
Breathe. Focus. Have fun.
His confidence came back. ❤️
Watching your child mentally spiral after one hard moment hurts.
Marvin struck out once yesterday and shut down. Second time at bat, he never swung.
His teammates encouraged him and asked what was wrong.
Sometimes kids don’t yet have words for what they’re carrying. ❤️⚾️
