Cloud Security Engineer and InfoSec junkie. Not easily surprised. EV fan. Metalhead. Hates exercise. Has too much My Little Pony junk. My opinions only.
The end of Stranger Things hit much harder than I thought. It's hard to believe it's been so long since I binged the first season. What an emotional ride after all this time.
Alien: Earth seems promising. The first episode is good, and the atmosphere is well-crafted and with a lot of respect to the original. I'm optimistic. #SDCC2025
"No, no, you misunderstand! It's the Windmill of Friendship that I built on top of the X headquarters. And we just like to kick our legs up very, very high to stretch our muscles when we walk. The uniforms? We just really like black. And the skull aesthetic is truly timeless."
The highlight of #SDCC so far is CM Punk hilariously roasting a person cosplaying as the Joker when they tried to tell a joke to the @Mattel@WWE panel during Q&A.
"Isn't this the wrong gimmick? You're not the Riddler."
This literally creates a threat vector where none existed because your average user will trust the AI summary instead of reading the email.
And no, putting "AI-generated content may be incorrect" at the bottom of the email doesn't help your average user.
At work, I just had Microsoft Copilot "summarize" a blatant phishing email (without my consent, naturally) and ignore the telltale signs of a phishing email. If you read only the AI summary, you could easily believe it was legitimate.
What an absolutely avoidable threat vector.
The new USPS web app is so bad I'm about to support defunding the USPS.
Whoever authorized this project should be fired and replaced because it's a level of programming and UI incompetence I haven't seen in a while.
Another day, another bent YubiKey that still mostly works but sometimes needs to be jiggled a little in the USB-C port to align the contacts correctly and make a secure connection.
ChatGPT, generate an ad for a generic pay to win base building mobile game with a https://t.co/J2LS4GwRoe version of Pacific Rim that has nothing to do with the game and includes misspelled words and choppy grammar.
The #SuperBowlLVIII halftime show feels like someone wanted it to make it as chaotic and tumultuous as the last three years of our lives. Interesting choices to say the least.
