Midwit-tier reaction: "This is obvious rage bait!"
Elite-tier reaction: "This is obvious rage bait, and also completely true."
The man in the picture is in good enough shape, but to really look and feel his best, he should lose another 10 pounds or so. So yes, from an elite perspective, he is indeed "a little overweight".
Everybody wanna be a homesteader, but don't nobody wanna herd no livestock for 6+ hours a day, every day.
Then they'll tell you how homesteading is only for rich folks and "terribly expensive". Guess what, it's not expensive if you actually DO IT.
HOMESTEADING is extremely cheap. Having a HOBBY FARM is what's expensive. The problem is people constantly confuse the two.
Nothing triggers the leftist more than the sight of one who is healthy, beautiful, and capable. Of one who is not, like him, estranged from nature, but in harmony with it.
The leftist can't help but feel inferior and resentful. He is incapable of being inspired to better himself, so all he can do is hate and seethe.
Hate never comes from above. Hate always comes from below.
As a non-American, I have to ask:
Am I supposed to be repulsed by what I see in this video? Because, OP's take aside, what I'm seeing looks like a happy and functional low-income community.
The kids look healthy and well-fed, and the worst thing I've seen in the whole video is a messy yard, and you can get those anywhere.
Some people have lower-than-average income, and there's nothing wrong with that. So what exactly is the problem here?
@LatticeWing@KingVelesI Thank you! I don't post on X much, but I have Instagram and YouTube, and I post wool-related content. Just search for "Queen of the Marsh".
I was a lowly baker working night shifts and dreaming of moving to an abandoned, off-grid plot to herd livestock, live off the land, and build a farm from the ground up. Said plot had no electricity, no running water, no toilet, not even heating during the first winter. A tiny one-room cabin, four walls and a roof.
She knew all that, and not only did she follow me, but she had a body artist carve my name into her forearm to show me how sure of us she was.
"I'll wait." is mid-tier.
"We will be." is queen-tier.
"I don't care." is goddess-tier.
It took my wife 20 hours to make this sweater out of the raw wool of our sheep, and keep in mind, she's still pretty new at this, and getting faster.
With a bit of skill, making wool clothing from scratch takes much less time than the internet would have you believe.
That's natural bodybuilding in a nutshell. Do the same hard and monotonous shit day after day, and month after month, and don't even expect to see any noticeable change in real time.
Keep at it consistently for years, and your reward will be people online calling you a lying fake natty scumbag POS.
Be sure to appreciate that, as that's the biggest compliment you'll ever get.
Young girls will play this game and end up putting themselves in dangerous situations because they'll think this is how reality works, and that they can "take care of themselves".
All media depicting women physically dominating men like this should include a "this is not how it works in the real world" disclaimer.
One day, I will be telling my kids how displaying beautiful White people used to be so controversial that doing so became a political act, and they won't be able to wrap their heads around it.
This is how far we've fallen.
Fifty years ago, the healthy, in-shape women (1 & 2) would have been in the middle of the lineup. Today, we have a class I obese woman there.
Yes, I know most people here won't register woman 4 as being obese (or woman 3 as being overweight), but that's medical reality. Woman 4 WILL have to deal with weight-related health issues.
If you’re overweight and want your health and appearance back, your first and most important step is overcoming the abysmally low standards society has been pushing on you your whole life.
I'll be honest, I get pretty annoyed when people talk about walking as a form of exercise. Especially with all this "10,000 steps a day" talk.
If you're getting 10,000 steps a day, that just means you're a pretty sedentary person, but not a full-on couch potato. It's definitely nothing to brag about.
Stop promoting mediocrity. Walking is not exercise; it's the human default.
People who don't lift seriously are very bad at estimating someone's level of muscularity and leanness.
It's like when women are asked to choose the most attractive physique from a series of photos, and they point to a champion natural bodybuilder who just isn't flexing in the picture. "See? He takes care of himself, but he's not overdoing it."
The truth is, being jacked and lean (within natural limits) makes everyone look better. Everything else is cope.
Exactly. As long as you have healthy arms and legs, you can make this happen.
You can move where land is cheap, grow crops and raise livestock the old-fashioned way, drink water from your own well, build fires with your own wood, and never work a job again.
Five years in over here, and we're never going back.
If you really want this life, NO ONE is stopping you.
"Self-sufficient, huh? Do you make your own clothes?"
Glad you asked — we're getting there. Wife's spinning speed has increased at least tenfold since she fixed up the old spinning wheel.
She's currently working on a sweater, and it seems like it'll take her about a week.
Raising sheep really is the ultimate move for apocalypse-proofing your life. Milk, meat, fat, and clothing, all in one animal.
No matter how you frame it, destroying your health, longevity, and appearance like this can only mean one thing: You are putting your gluttony before your family.
It is not unlike becoming an alcoholic or a drug abuser.
When you're responsible for people other than yourself, maintaining a basic level of health and mobility is your DUTY.
